Rest and Relaxation vs. Sleep Deprivation and Delirium

Balance..... Everyone needs it.

And even as a new member who is excited and eager to get the work done so that you can see some results, guess what? You are no different.

And then, again maybe you don't need this. Maybe I'm the only one that's crazy. Perhaps I'm the only one that thought it was okay to work 18 hours straight with no real break.

Then again, I am just like that period when I first start something like this, I throw myself into it fully. There is so much information here and I was determined to get off to a good start.

If this sounds like you then listen up. Don't overdo it. Get you some rest. You will function much better. There is nothing wrong with working and being committed to building your business. But in the long run you don't want your body and mind to work against you due to sleep deprivation.

You want to be operating at peak performance. Get some rest. Now, with the exception of tonight, (Because I'm determined to get this post done) my work deadline is now 9:30 p.m. I will try to stop all of my work on here at that time daily. What is not done will not get done until the next day.

No more burning the midnight oil till 4 and 6 a.m. for me. I have found that this way of working is working against me in the long run. Another thing that I underestimated is the power of exercising and just plain going outside and getting some fresh air.

I did that this morning. I was up early sitting out on the front porch relaxing. And it felt great. I had to make myself take breaks today. I mean if you think about it it makes sense. I would not go into a typical nine-to-five factory job and work 18 hours straight with no break, would you? I mean, I would have to be crazy as a road lizard to try something like that.

At the end of the day, what I'm trying to share with you all is, new members, please make sure that as you're working through all of this content you are listening to your body. And you are getting your rest and taking your brakes. There is nothing wrong with it.

Remember a few hours of high-quality work with optimal results is much better than 18 hours plus of going in and out of scattered thoughts and delirium. Be good to your body mind and soul. And they are sure to return the favor.
