The 20-30 hours a week won't start until the end of July, when I go back to work. For the next month, I'm looking at 60 - 70 hours a week. I really want to get off to a good start!

Welcome to WA - lots to learn here- stay focused - go through the Certification Courses first - you will get confused or frustrated from time to time - ask lots of questions - people are here to help you.

HERE ARE 3 WA'ers Training Posts - they helped me - one is vocabulary you use here - one is a detailed use of your dashboard to find anything you will need - one is a plug-in to add to WordPress - that will help you build your sties. Hope they help - they did me This one I wrote - deals with how to "close" for the result you want. Stay with it - you don't need a wish of good luck - you need a plea to study the material and stay at it no matter what - it will change your life and hopefully the people you touch with your message.

Educational Resources For Parents

Posted on July 11, 2017 by admin

Flexibilities

On the surface, the topic of this post may seem to stray just bit from the primary function of the web site. However, that simply is not the case. By the very nature of homeschooling, parents must be open to seeking other pathways for the children. It is not unusual for parents to search for engineering educational resources or even Christian resources for parents, as both topics have numerous web sites containing related content. It all depends on the needs of the children as, after all, this is what homeschooling is all about. The kids.

Proclivities

For example, a homeschooled child may demonstrate, early on, a proclivity for math and science. It’s not unusual for a homeschooled child to surpass all the math and science their parents can provide. Whether the child wants to study further is moot, as the resources in many homeschool environments are simply absent. That is, no doubt, a frustrating situation for both parents and child.

In that situation, parents may want to consider the Engineering is Elementary program, developed by the Museum of Science in Boston (www.eie.org). Their mission? “Engineering is Elementary supports educators and children with curricula and professional development that develop engineering literacy.” This program is appropriate for children of all ages.

Spiritualities

In an effort to provide a quality education that is in line with a family’s spiritual leanings, a program like Abeka (https://www.abeka.com) may provide the balance between education and spirituality the family demands. Actually, it is quite common for educational program providers to combine education principles with spiritual or Christian values.

In any case, there are many different educational programs available to the homeschooling public. The children are the recipients of our efforts and it is incumbent on us to provide the finest education we possibly can. We can do no less.

As always, please post any questions or comments you may have in the comment field below. Of course, feel free to email me if you wish.

All the best in your homeschooling activities!
