I second everything that ownonlboss says but I would like to add that I would advise against cancelling your membership as you won’t find training and help like this anywhere else on the internet for the price.
Whatever you decide, I wish you all the best.

Hello,
You can build a professional site for your artwork here. There are many themes and plugins designed for this. May I ask what your medium is?

Any domain names you registered and paid for are yours. You can take them to whatever host you choose. That said, if they were recently registered or transferred, there is a 60 day waiting period before you can transfer them.

As for a refund, you'll have to talk to Kyle about that but, I recommend you stick with us here. Yes, this platform focuses on affiliate marketing but it's full of experts in wordpress, people with knowledge on different themes and plugins and an incredibly helpful community. Add to that great web hosting, and it's still a great bargain.

When it comes to the purchasing side of things... what features are you looking for?

You could always install WooCommerce on your WordPress site and add your artwork there as products. WordPress can be made into anything, even into a store where people buy stuff or just check stuff out on display (gallery).

What you learn here is a way how to get people to your art gallery and how to build the art gallery.

If you decide to leave, you should move your domain / website away from WA as soon as possible and upto 30 days after closing your WA account.

As for refunds you would have to contact Kyle in Private. I don't dare to say much, although I have my doubts about refunds in general on the internet.

I've been on WA for almost 2 months. I really love the process, the people and the vision. But I'm at the point in the training lessons where I'm starting to join affiliate org

I cannot speak for anyone but myself. I call it up against the wall. I have found a triple shot of Crown Royal on the rocks and then a long nap gets me back to being almost creative. (Bad Joke) I have only had to do this 976 times.:-] I have also started buying Se grams Stock. I'll either get rich or loose my liver. PLEASE DO NOT FOLLOW MY EXAMPLE.

oh yes..! we definitely have gone through that. And then again occasionally we hit a bump with the technical aspect. But the support from the community and site support (who responds fast!) is unbelievably good!

Good to know! I've been in contact with site support and yes, they do answer fast. Glad I'm not alone.

Yes I have almost give up at times because of information overload. However, it always comes down to persistence and focus. Sometimes I have back of for a day or 2, just to rest my mind and enjoy life. You may need to back off for a day!

Good advice. That's what I was thinking.

You are not alone. The training can be very challenging sometimes but you will have to take it one day at a time and give yourself some rest and relaxation between sessions.

All the best.

Oh yes!

Wayne

You'll get more and more used to it. Any html codes you have to use will be a simple copy and paste. Don't worry :)

That's the problem. I don't know where to paste it. I have a blog over at Google's blogspot, so I'm familiar with how to insert it. It's the 'where' that's hanging me up.

Thanks.

If I understand correctly you paste your html code in the Text mode of your post or page in WordPress. Normally you start typing your document in Visual mode where you format text, paragraphs, etc. However, any code needs to be entered by switching over to the Text mode. You can find these two tabs in the upper right-hand corner of your document, to the right of your formatting icons.

Make sense? If not this might help: Let me know if I can help further.

Well it depends on what code it is you're pasting. If it's an affiliate link, you place the html code wherever you'd like the affiliate link to appear in your post.

If it's another type of code like a tracking code or something the affiliate wants you to place in your site for tracking purposes, they usually tell you exactly where they want it, for example, in your "header". And while that can sound scary in and of itself, lol, it's not too difficult and it's the same process as you do here when you set up google analytics.

These things will make more sense as you go. Trust me. It's just like learning a new language and there's a learning curve. You'll get it, and the good thing is, the vast majority of this business is all about content and not code :)

I'm currently on level 3/lesson 2 course work and one of the assignments is to join an affiliate network. But my website is so young. I don't have an established following. Sho

Some affiliates will welcome you even if you are not quite ready to be open for business.LOL but otherwise, do wait until your blog has at least become more established. Let me know how this goes for you. Some places like Amazon you can sign up for immediately I believe.

Thanks for your input. Yes, I have heard that about Amazon, but I've also heard that they will drop you if you're not selling.

That is very true. but you have 6 months to make at least 3 sales. And just ask family and friends to use your link.

I would wait until your site is more established before applying. All the best.

Not there yet but thanks for sharing

I am about where you are. I have joined several affiliate networks. Some I am still waiting to hear back on. I am finding that if you want to become an affiliate for a specific company, they will go through one or another company and so I have been working on joining those over the past week. It has been interesting to say the least. Some companies won't even look at your site, others are starting to ask me to become an affiliate. So that was interesting.

How/why are they asking you to become an affiliate? How long have you had a WA-connected website? Just trying to get a feel for all of this. I know it's important to go thru the WA training, but it looks like I will have to go back to some lessons when my website is ready for them.

I have been with WA since middle of February. Got a site up as soon as I could according to the lessons. Check out my site, I have a couple links on there on the right hand side. One one blog post I have another with a review to the Ninja blender.
I was actually asked by a clothing company to become an affiliate. So of course I have a blog with links to there site.

Join all of the networks you can such as CJ and ShareASale. Once you have joined those, you can start to look up companies and try to join them. Most of them will go and look at your site and see if you are getting traffic and able to drive traffic.

I did run an ad with facebook and Instagram just to get my feet wet to see how much interest I would get. It has been a learning process. I am not quite ready for advertising on social media but at the same time I think it has help with companies approving me to be an affiliate.
Visit my site and take a look around to see the links on several of the blogs. Let me know what you think and if I can help you out somehow.

I would wait until you have a few articles published before you join any affiliate companies.
Some members wait quite a few months before they think about promoting anything but best to go with your gut.
When you believe you're ready then no harm in inserting an advert or two.
You will probably get lots of suggestion but you go with what you believe is best for you.
Robert

You can join Amazon Associates anytime as they don’t have to screen through your website unlike some other affiliate networks. But they have a condition that you must make a number of sale within a given time period otherwise they will terminated your account. My advice is just follow the training, you will eventually build up your business overtime.
