How do I transfer my domain "shareyouropportunity.com" at "Go Daddy.com" to the "Wealthy Affiliate" website?
Hi Mcdonald
I did that a while ago.
Site support helped and told me exactly what to do, when.
The conversation started with them saying:
"To transfer your website to Wealthy Affiliate servers please provide us WordPress Dashboard's login details so that we will download and install your website on a temporary site here at WA.
You can verify that the site has transferred correctly.
Then you can update the nameservers for your domain and move the site contents to main domain."
So if you contact site support they will help.
:-)

Cool. I just found where to transfer my domain names(no websites attached to them so should be easy).
It is one of the options on the site builder dashboard. I just need to get transfer codes from where I bought them. Since WA has domain purchase options now, no need to juggle two places.
Only... can someone tell me if there are additional charges involved with switching?
Hi RowanAsh, I transferred my site some time ago.
I would call what it cost you a "Fee". Even though you own the domain, you have to pay the $13.99 to "Purchase" the website, however many websites that may be.
Its was frustrating to me, but when I thought about it, the site I bought the name from wasn't giving me all the features that WA offers and so I looked at it as having to pay the $13.99 fee to buy a bit of peace of mind.
After this, you will pay your annual renewals to WA.

Thank you! That makes a lot of sense and is a reasonable sum
