Where's My Traffic Gone! & New Goal Set

Last Update: May 25, 2019

Just a quick update and a new goal I have set myself.

A few weeks ago I posted that I had a huge spike in my traffic. But that seems to have nearly died to nothing I am still ranking in the top 3 on Google and Bing but the traffic has gone :(

This just hits home that search engine traffic although great can not be relied upon. You need to keep generating new content all the time. And also look for new ways to generate traffic too.

YouTube is one that I am going to looking at more closely over the next months. I have neglected it of late as been fully focused on my blog.

300 Subscribers Yeah!

Having just hit 300 subs on my account I have now given myself the goal of creating 8 videos over the next few weeks and I want to hit 500 Subsribers by end of July.

Having big goals ia amazing and you should always have these but remember to set short term goals too. Also sharing these goals with you means I have to go for it now... lol

What's your short term goal let me know in the comments below I would love to hear from you.

Okay lots of work to do then

I'm going to do the same and look into Youtube for my WA businesses. I think Youtube coupled with some other free traffic sources could be an excellent way to improve traffic and revenue.

You know what this just happened to me too. I thought the Google flood gates were opening. Then a few days later it just fell almost to nothing. Now it is going back up but not anywhere near where I was. You’re right we can’t relay on search engines alone.

Search is amazing and you want to aim for that but while you are still building look at other avenues too.

Ooh that double edged sword of stating such aggressive goals. True, it can be very motivating, but can you handle the pressure of community wide expectations. I’d put my money on you mcb!

Your article is amazing, full of truth including the ups and downs of business. You will most definitely reach your goals. Because you are consistent, it may be time to take a few hours and walk away. Go for a walk enjoy your family or hook up with friends this weekend. When you come back you will have a new perspective. Possibly seeing something That you have missed on your website. To your success.
Peace💗

Thanks... Indeed taking time away can help you refocus if only for a few hours.

I will be taking time out tomorrow to spend with family.

Hi Martin. Love it "Big goals" at least if you miss your mark you will still accomplish a whole lot more than if you just shot for little bitty goals.
My goal is to create 12 new posts per month and so far I am right on target, it is hard considering I used to try 1 new post a month, pitiful... I have learned that you have to stay committed and do a little each day.
so much more to learn, thanks for sharing your post.

Our traffic has died down tremendously also. You definitely need multiply traffic sources. Good luck and yes we are looking for other sources just trying to decide which way to go and coming up with a strategy.
