Hi

In the first instance, I would try a different browser and are you on a laptop | desktop?

Or you may zoom in to make your screen smaller,

Tutorials Hope you are able to figure it out.

Yes, we have had to make our display screen smaller. We use the CNTL with the minus key on our keyboard until we can the buttons

That worked for me as well! Thank you so much! :)

Terrific. So glad it worked for you.
Cheers!

Hello Michael,

Yes, I had the same challenge
and I kept reducing the size of
my screen text that you can find
on your top right-hand corner
which shows three dots.

I had it down to 80% and that was
too small I just put it back after I
was finished and it took me a long
time to finish my content because
of that.

Try that and it might work for you.

Peace.

Elizabeth

Thank you for the reply, Elizabeth! That worked (and I only had to reduce it to 80 % ;). Still put it back to the original size afterwards, though).

Peace, and best wishes!

"I only had to reduce it to 90%" is what I meant to write... ;)

Yes, I have to do the same thing.

Welcome and thank you more.

Peace.

Elizabeth

Yes, it worked out well afterward.

Thank you.

Elizabeth

Hey good people.
So this might be question that labels me a simpleton, but so be it... ;)

I was recommended to back up my site, because of an issue I ran into. But I

Yes, site support backs us up every 24 hours.

Thanks, thats' what I thought... Appreciate it! :)

No problem. You can still do your own backup if you like.

If I have a .com domain, and I redirect that to a different .com domain ( I own them both), and I then delete the original site from the first domain... I still keep the origin

the answer to your question is yes. You would still own the first domain. If you bought it, you usually pay for a year. If you delete all the content, it will just be a blank page.

Make sure though that you do your redirects for each page you move. Even though you delete the other stuff, you want to let google know that it is not a duplicate of something. It tells google where you moved it.

Thank you for your answer.

Just to clarify: You're saying I need to redirect each page I move... But if I redirect the whole website, this shouldn't be necessary, right?

What you're referring to, is if I redirect single pages. (So only parts of a website). Or am I misunderstanding?

Thanks again!

your correct. Sorry about that

No no no... nothing to be sorry for!

I didn't actually know that it was possible to move only parts of a website... So I learned even more... :)

Thanks so much for the help!

Your domain name is not the same as your website. Your website is made up of files, folders and a database. Your domain name is how people find your website on the internet. If you delete all the content then all people will find is an empty page where your website used to be.

Thank you for your answer!

Just getting the basics in order... ;)
