Hi Folks!
I would like to add some affiliate links to my post for Wealthy Affiliate but i can't seem to find where i can obtain my link. Any Idea where i can find it? :D
Just click on the dollar sign on the top then "links & tracking" the first link you see is your affiliate link. when you send that link to someone and they join they are automatically your referral.
Hello there,
You actually have a few places:
1) Under the $ Coin looking icon up top, you can select Program Details. Your main link to share is there.
2) Under the same $ Coin looking icon, you can select Links & Tracking. There you can find links that will take your visitor to various pages (still with your unique code). This allows you to pick a different page you want them to land on. You can also create custom links, etc.
3) You can click on the Affiliate button at the top of any post or training. Sharing that link will take them to that particular post or training (again with your unique code).
If you go to the top of your page your will see a "$" sign. Click on that and you will find links and tracking. There is also a separate one for banners.

So I'm following some blogs about website building and blogging. Some of them talked about google webmasters.
Is this something I should worry about at the beginning of my s
Here's a recent webinar by Jay about this: Introduction to Google Search Console Google Webmasters is the old name, Search Console is the new one, and this is the most updated video for you to go set it up yourself.
This is also in the main training on left menu. Hope you are going through the main training, Online Entrepreneur Certification course.
If you have any other questions, just ask.

Hi Grace,
Thanks for the video.
Yeah, I am following the training but I would like to speed up the process any way possible :)
Google Webmasters is a tool that should be used once you have built a decent following of readers. The ideal usage for a new website is the URL inspection feature for Google Search Console.
It allows your content to be indexed faster in Google. Beyond that, you can focus on content first before you go into the statistics that Webmaster offers.
You can view the training here: Setting Up Google Search Console
you have been here since last month so you should have created a Google Console Account and a Google Analytics Account.
Webmasters Tools is now called Google Console.
You should have submitted your website sitemap to google console so you will get indexed and ranked for your site and the posts you have published and of course future posts.
I already set it up. But I have no traffic yet and it was concerning me. But after reading the responses I think that I first need to focus on finishing the training and making good content before I start worrying about traffic. Thanks for your advice.
Always best to get some training done before you can really expect to get visitors to your site in any great number.
Enjoy your Tuesday.
Robert
When you are in such an interactive forum you do start to worry about stuff people are talking about and you have not touched on. As Mikael says in his comment stick with the training, everything you need to know and put on your site will be shown to in the correct order. Once your training is complete then you can start to explore a bit more and find out what else you need on your site. Keep going, cheers Denise.
Yeah, I think that I'm just getting too much info for a newbie and want to try everything out to get the best results. But all I'm doing is actually waste time on research and not following the training. I'll stick to that for the moment :D
It is now called Google Search Console.
It can be a very useful tool, but if you just follow the training here step-by-step you will get to that once it is necessary. So I would suggest to just keep going with the training here and not worry about it until you get to it in the traning.
Yeah, you are right. I was wasting waaay to much time on that while I don't need it yet.
