Friends,

Just wondering as noted above, if there are any Christian affiliates here who have had success with a Christian niche?

If so, would you mind sharing a bi

I haven't tried doing anything like this. It seems like there are a lot of possible niches in this area. Just make sure to keep the religious stuff on your own website.

As far as I understand the rules in the link someone else gave, it sounds like the restriction against religious content is only on Wealthy Affiliate.

There's no rule against using WA hosting for a religious site, is there anyone?

I have no idea what niche I'll choose yet. I'm still contemplating what one to try first at this stage, and all options remain on the table.

Just throwing this question out there to see if there are WA members with experience in this one as it interests me.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Hi - I have seen quite a few sites on religion hosted here, it's not a problem. The rules apply to religion-based blog posts, as you suggested.

Got it. Thanks, Diane.

Matthew, in short, yes, I have, and yes, great niche. Especially when it's content that pertains to the many different Bible Editions, like NIV versus KJV etc.

Thank you, Maria. Appreciate your feedback.

hey hi Matthew & welcome to Wealthy Affiliate starter membership!

All questions are good ones here and please kindly note that this platform is for members all around the world and with all due respect, religion is a topic that isn't discussed or posted here ....

And frankly, any niche can be a successful one, it's of how you treat the topic and of how you build your website to engage your selected audience through quality content and discussions ...

Here are the operating rules as posted by Kyle, the Co-Founder of Wealthy Affiliate (WA) for your guidance & information -- note specifically #15 ...

All the very best to you for every Success ... :)

I wasn't questioning peoples religious beliefs or evangelizing. I was specifically asking for feedback from Christians here who have chosen this niche.

Before this question I asked for feedback regarding an exercise machine niche. If that didn't cause any controversy, I can't see why this one would.

How many WA members promote WA compared to their own niche? Add to that, what the general success rates for members who choose either?

E.g. do members who promote WA gen

Unbalanced most newbies do better by creating their own websites in their own niches. However, you are not most newbies you are you. If you decide you will be successful with wealthy affiliate is then you will be

As @JTeston pointed out - you always have the option to do both. I use my WA affiliate link to share and promote training that I think would be of interest to my Social Media network.

Good point. Thanks!

Hi - that would be impossible to answer, as no records are kept, and most people prefer to keep their earnings private.

However, do be aware that promoting WA is very competitive, and you would be expected to write hundreds of very in-depth make money online reviews. The posts on WA reviews which make it on to page 1 of Google are typically between 4000 and 5000 words.

Unless you would enjoy writing this type of content, it may be better to start with your own niche subject. All niches have the potential to be successful, it is down to your hard work.

Thanks, Diane. Your response make sense. Figured a few responses might at least give me a general feel for the options, and yours has.

Cheers

I promote wealthy affiliate assigned from blogging content and my other niche websites. Dedicate one hour a day promoting just WA.

Thanks, JTeston. Glad to read you are finding success through both options, WA's program and your own niches.

Hi Guys,

Just wondering, outside of the WA membership fee, what other costs should one be ready to spend to get up and running with their first affiliate site?

Or

Depending on the niche you may need email marketing software (autoresponer) but there are free options there. The most important resource you will need is time.

If you are on WA then startup cost is pretty much just the domain cost. If you are outside WA you need to pay about $30-40 per month to maintain one website. Within that cost you get 10 websites at WA and awesome step by step training. So if you can afford $49 for about a year, you can setup a long term earning here.

Hi Matthew, to start, I would budget for a domain $15/year.

Anything else could wait until you actually start getting traffic to your site.

I hope this helps you!
