Hi May,
Have you considered a temporary URL shortener to do what you want? It's not a plugin but a free service where you type in the URL of the link you want shortened and you choose when you would like it to expire. Then just paste that link into your content for your visitors. When the expiration date comes the link will no longer work on your website.
Is anyone using a partial content expiration plug-in?

Hey, yea there seem to be solutions when you want to do this for an entire post or page but not much if it's just a portion of the content. Hmmm... I might have to set reminders or something

Hi all, I'm adding on reviews on my website and I'd like to classify them as below.
I'd like to classify my reviews into the following categories:
Music instruments
Hi all! Thanks so much, you've saved my life! I did the categories thing and the appearance is tonnes better. I checked how my blogroll looks and as it turns out, I don't really mind the reviews showing up in my blogroll. Don't know what I was being so fussy about...Lol! Thanks alot guys!
First, you have to create those categories you've mentioned. When you do your reviews, just tick on which categories you want the reviews to be put under. You've to create a category page in order to put those categories on your menu. Here's how you can do it. Creating A Category Page Since you said you don't want your review posts to show up in your blogroll, you can change your homepage to static. I can't think of any other way to prevent posts from showing up as blogrolls other than changing it to static. Go to Settings - Reading Settings. On Front page displays tick the A static page.
Hope this helps =)
Hi May,
If you create a post that will show up in your blog roll as the latest, if you are wanting to do static reviews those would have to be written as pages, published and then placed under each menu heading.

All of your posts will still show up in your blogroll but, it is a good idea to categorize them as well as they will eventually become buried as you add lots of posts anyway WordPress Categories Tutorial

Hi all, so my website health check says I should keep my plug ins at below 5 and this is what I have installed: 1. Akismet 2. All In One SEO 3. Exclude pages from navigation 4.
I think we're getting into 'how long's a piece of string?' territory here. I also have 15 plugins... as long as you manage them properly you will be fine...
I have about 15 plugins on my sites and they run fine, the Site health is really to stop newcomers getting carried away and installing way too many.
As long as your site is loading within a reasonable time, that's what matters :)
Hi,
don't care about this "below 5 plugins"!
I (and most other people here I know) have many more and the sites are doing fine.
It's only important that your plugins are programmed well and don't interfere with each other.
As long as you site is loading fast enough, everything is fine.
You can test your real site speed (and what you really should improve) on gtmetrix.com
Why do you keep deactivated plugins?
They don't do anything and can be a security risk if not updated.
It's recommended to delete plugins and themes that are not active.
At least that's what I've read.
