When you fall off the bicycle
I metaphorically fell off my bike at the end of April this year and have inexplicably lost the confidence to continue writing articles for my website.
Common advice is to just get back on, and for the most part, that is what I would do. But I am stuck. I am thinking that I have taken on the wrong niche and I was ready to do what I have always done. Just give up here and then move to the next project!
My chosen niche is about safety ladders and I have been interested in selling these ever since I moved in to my 3 storey town house 26 years ago. I could never understand why the previous owner or the neighbours never had these ladders in place in case of emergency.
My point is that if I had a physical shop and was selling the products personally, I would need to be communicating about the product to my customers. And I had originally wanted a real shop in those early years but was thwarted by lack of capital and lack of business experience.
So why am I finding this next particular article so difficult to write and how can I get back in the saddle in order to write even just a small article. I have written a few articles but they seem to be repeats of the previous one without adding anything new. And as a visitor, that would not keep me on a site if there were no new or interesting articles.

In regards to writing, start telling stories about ladders that have saved lives. Scan the news for stories. Half the article is you giving a synopsis of the article...the other half convincing them to purchase. Here is a video JmAos4kzN2A (Plug into youtube). Put the video on your webpage and a followup article below talking about it.

Remember that you can have the right niche but the wrong keywords. An important difference. I always target long-tail keywords with these types of words (source Nichehacks):

Thank you! That is a very helpful list, and with some small steps and planning will hopefully help me get over my fear and writers block. I did think I had a brilliant list of keywords but got stuck in getting my words on paper.

Sometimes you can find ideas to inspire you by looking at platforms like Pinterest, Quora, or Reddit. They are excellent places to do research. The questions and answers on those platforms may give you a list of ideas to write about.
