You Can Be 1st - But First Where? Google Hates Me!

Since I've been back here at WA, I've gone flat out to create a website and content.

I'm exhausted.

I've been having constant doubts about my first website being back at WA, checking its visitor stats like a statistics junkie, only to find that I've had a handful of visitors. And I strongly feel that those visitors were WA members just checking out my site or from the request feedback.

How do I feel after going flat out and seeing nothing?

Pretty... ssshh!

I said to myself I'll leave the site alone for a week and see if anything happens, then I think well if nothing is happening right now, whats the point.

I've thankfully got some other domains to work on, but is that the right thing to do, jumping from website to website before one site generates visitors and hopefully an income.

I know patience is needed in this game, but define patience and kidding yourself.

Would I be right to just start over again or am I going to continue with this first website, I'm confused.

Anyone feeling similar?

Any advice on how long it took for you to see visitors?

How many times have you chosen to just start over again?

(the site is geared towards a swamp of a niche MMO + Beginner affiliates)

I have only 13 posts, is that eneough to drive traffic?

I dont't think so, will I write more content for it, I don't think so, I just have this feeling that its not fitting in correctly with the crowd.

Oh yeah and Google hates me. I'm first place, but where?

On the TRASH!

With other non-helpful websites.

So you can be ranked first page in Google but amongst WHO?

The road is long and tough.

Here is a screenshot. I'm first for my keyword ultimate success academia - which is the sites name (bad choice in my opinion) I think I rushed into it and did'nt think it through.

I feel very dishearten to even continue with my first site... what do you recommend any advice is welcomed.

I know for the MMO niche it takes double what it would take in a more specific niche. I would keep posting.

I think jumping from site to site will just wear you down more as you aren’t giving all your focus on one website/niche.

Honestly Google is not the only search engine out there and the whole world doesn’t just use Google. I have found that so far Google has indexed 1 out of 5 posts while Yahoo has indexed almost all of them.

I too am in the MMO niche. I know it will take longer. (My son just saw today he is ranked on page 1 position 2 for a few articles he wrote. Not MMO.)

Keep pushing forward and try Partha’s keyword training. Before you write for a keyword check the first page of Google and see your competition.

Keep building, provide quality content and the rest will come. Also, you went social yet?

Ah thank you. No haven't gone social yet.

Don't Stop and Have Faith in yourself and in your Domain name. YOU are the one who makes the engine run. You are the one who makes the decisions. YOU are the money that decides the content. YOU are the one who decides how your website appears to your audience. YOU are the one who needs to be in control.
You have it within yourself to turn this into one of the best domain names out there or not. That is up to you. Personally, I like your domain name. It suggests that there is an intellect behind it that has some really deep and wonderful thoughts.

Thank you Jerry.

Hello
I think the advice from the WAmily is going to help, listen to what they say and I think this time next year things will have improved. For absolute clear cut proof of Posts Required I found a really useful YouTube video, from Ricky at “Income School”. He has just uploaded one for 2022 (so it’s current). They did some epic research from the Income School Community (platform like this)

What Traffic and income with:
10 Posts
50 Posts
100 posts
400 posts
They looked at the 3 bears approach, Below average page views, average monthly page views and those people like the Prince, excellent monthly page views.

It’s worth a look and it might change your mind set.

One bit of advice, don’t give up, slow and steady…. 👍

Okay thanks

I think you can spend more time writing content on your website. Checking your analytics eats your time and productivity.
All the best.

Thanks
