Do you still get ranked by google is your content is in private?
If you mean that your page or post is published as "Private" instead of "Public" then it shouldn't be indexed. You can check by typing site:yourdomainname.com into your browser. You should see all the pages and posts that are indexed. The "Private" pages should not appear.

Should I just concentrate on one niche at a time?
Definitely focus on just one in the beginnings ;) Once you get to a decent income, you'll be able to automate and outsource parts of your business and it will be easier to venture into other niches ;)
Hello... it's best to stick with one niche. Easier too and this way you can put 100% of your hard work into it.
Hello from experience, start and stick with 1 niche until it does not require too much work.I made the same mistake when I got started thinking I could handle 2 niches, even outsourcing some content from time to time, 2 niches are still too much.
Thanks Roamy for the advice, I have selected my niche and am very passionate about it and will put my full effort in this one niche. Thanks again.
I'd say start with the one.. once you start making money with the first one you can outsource some content writing and be able to manage both.
Thanks Beth, the more I read about one the more discouraging it is, so maybe I will ditch that one
THAT is one of the main reasons, Kyle, in pretty much the first lesson, tells you to go after your PASSION.
A passion does not become discouring.
