I'd like to change my WA username from mattzammit to MattZammit to make it more legible, however when I try it I'm getting an error that the username already exists... assuming

Not sure that there is really any way to get around this, unfortunately. You can try contacting support to see if they can override it from their end, but if the username already exists (try searching it above to find out if another user has MattZammit as their username - if not, you can mention that to support and they might consider giving it to you) I don't think there's really much to be done about it. Sorry!

hmm thought so... is there a specific WAS support? or would you use the Site Support? ... this is more of a problem specific to WA

Yes, there is! You actually have a couple options. For either option, go to Kyle's profile here:

You can try "SiteSupport" by clicking Private Message on his profile, then clicking "Something on my site isn't working properly". This will allow you to create a support ticket. I know technically it's supposed to be for site-specific issues, but I'm sure they could help you with this.
Alternatively, hit "Other inquiry", then type in the box that appears below that says "couldn't find what you're looking for? elaborate here". Just put your question in, briefly. Then click on "contact Kyle privately".
