I noticed that when I add an image to a page or post, if I select attachment page, it creates an entire "page" that the search engines may now index with the image name as the t

I personally use a plugin called "Simple Lightbox" and have images load in a lightbox on the same page. But I only do this for images that have a larger image to load if that makes sense.

I don't recommend linking to media file or the attachment page unless you have a reason too.

Thanks Jon, I do get that, yet I was wondering what the best choice would be, and what the attachment page would be used for.

Why don't you use the attachment page? If there any specific reason?

I can assume the "none" would be the right choice for almost all applications, but I can't seem to figure out the benefit of the attachment page.

If you use media file and the user clicks, it just shows the picture
If you use "none" the image is not clickable
Attachment page I never use
If you want the click on the image link to, let's say, my site, you would enter my url in the field

Hi Mason.
Frustrating for sure. SiteAdvisor automatically tests sites for pop-ups, malware, and fraud. The system also fills in forms and monitors any spam received as a result. There can be a false positive and McAffee will correct it but be aware that I have yet to know anyone who accomplished the correction quickly. It can take weeks so patience is necessary. You can fill out a form provided at www.siteadvisor.com/feedback or send a email to complaints@siteadvisor.com

I hope this helps.

Thank you so much for the infor trishw, I will let every one know what happens, I have all the patients in the world, lol.

Thankfully I have never had that happen to me. Can you post it to any of the other social networks?

Yes, some do allow it be posted, I was more concerned about building this domain and spending the time to do everything right, and have an unrankable site. I have done a little research and found it will be social networks mostly, and as trishw says above, in time they will correct the blacklist. Time will tell.

Sorry that you have to wait on Facebook to get their act together but at least you have all of the other Social Networks to work with plus Google, Yahoo and Bing.
