every time I use the generated code from eBay, it just goes back to my site for whatever reason. So if I just add the actual URL will I still get commission if someone clicks on it? I probably won't, but I've edited the picture and the link a couple times and still nothing works
ok but the link from ebay has your affiliate information on it
if it does then you can get commission

Are you pasting the link in text mode? Make sure to update draft afterward. I had to paste the link in text mode and then go back to visual to make it open up in another window. Also try refreshing the page

My dashboard isn't working right now, not sure why haha, but where would the text mode option be?
When you are creating or editing a post it will be right above the content box on the right hand side. Two boxes should say "Visual" and "Text"
Okay I put the code in there and it just shows the whole code on my website, it actually goes to the right page this time, but idk how to get the code attached the picture itself
Hey Mary, had some computer trouble. If you go to the picture in visual mode, click on it and then click on the link button which looks like a chain link. Copy and paste the url code in the box making sure you clear anything that is in the box first. Then check the box that says "open in new window" and click on "Add link". Update your post and it should work. You can always go back to the training too. Adding Affiliate Links to Your Pages Hope this helps.

Just now checked the Screenshot in Windows (Keyboard) and, its a little outdated... in windows 8+ use the windows key + PrtSc and it saves the screen shot to the pictures/screenshots folder
Hi Mary, Looks like DoubleA has covered it. On thing that I do as I go along is to make notes in a notebook of important tricks, tips, websites, etc. You can also do the same in the digital mode by copying and pasting in notebook for Windows. Another thing that you can do is to click on the white star to the left of the blue cog button above. This star will then take you to where you can save that page as favorites within this website. You can title and organize them as you like. This helps you to find all the great info that you are learning at a later date. Dave.
Not sure what program you're looking for, try these! Screenshot in Windows (Keyboard) Screenshot in Windows (Snipping Tool) Screenshot on Mac

So I'm wanting to make an Amazon affiliate account, and I've been reading that you have to make a sale on something in 24 hours in order to make any commission on it. Is this t
That is not exactly right. The 24 hour deal is where if someone goes through a link on your website and into Amazon and eventually leaves, there has been a 24 hour cookie placed on them. So, if they go back to Amazon during that time frame and make any purchase (doesn't matter what it is), then you get a commission.
Now, if they happen to go to another website and go back into Amazon through another person's link, then you would not receive a commission. :)
Oh, and when you sign up with Amazon Associates, you are given approximately 180 days to make your first sale. It use to be 90, but I believe they have changed it.

My website is for cheap casual boots, I was wondering if anyone else had a similar niche and would know which affiliate account would go best with it?? Thanks!
Not sure I'm understanding your question, but I would think amazon would be an obvious affiliate program to use.
Any ideas for an affiliate account?
