Hi, and yes I'm getting there, fantastic to see you only have to ask and all the answers come knocking at the door lol. I really do appreciate the help from everyone. Have a good day I'm about to get ready for my 9-5 just going through the emails before I do.

I use the Header and Footer script plugin, very easy and no messing around in the editor
Here is a similar training for the insert headers and footers plugin

thank you just watched the adsense insert video and found the plug in and it's up and running. Thanks for taking time to answer :) Mary

Glad it worked out fine for you, enjoy your day:)

Thanks Loes, I didn't know either. Mary thanks for the post.

How are you on this beautifully overcast day (here in NZ anyway) which may lead to rain :) The header footer plugin is sooo good I feel like won the lottery now I can add my Amazon link as well.
Enjoy your day or is it evening in your neck of the woods :)

12:56pm here in Hawaii. I took off from work to do outside business. I'm at McDonalds eating a sandwich and coffee.

Nice day here, sunny skies!

Have a great day Mary and I'm glad you got help.

Yes, I know it feels like winning the lottery ain't it!

f =)

For an example you can go to just about any web page and hit control-U which will let you view (most) of the source of that web page. Most likely they will start with something similar to:

<html lang="en">
<head>
That is the way yours should start with something similar also.

Good Luck!

I did the control u and it brought it all up but it won't let me paste?

All sorted thank you, I watched the adsense video and now have a header and footer plugin installed .. thank you for your input much appreciated I have no idea at all how to do half of the stuff.
Mary

Near the top of your html code you should see <head> and </head> tags. They may be many lines apart. You place the html code that you want to add between them Make sure you aren't between some other and pair!

Got there but can't paste the code in?

I just asked the same question about ClickBank Trust Badge code. Here's how.
In Wordpress, go to Appearance/Editor.
Look on the right hand side for the "header" section, and open that in the editor.
You should see the head section there, where you can edit it.
If you update your theme or change themes, your edits will be lost. I still don't know how to get around that. But keeping the same theme, this should work.

Thank you for your reply. I didn't see it until I had watched the adsense video suggested by Bryan8 .. I now have a Header Footer plugin where I can do it all and just hit DONE ... I suggest you do it this way as well so when your theme updates you don't lose the html code.
The video was on adding Adsense but it works for all html addins .. go to ... Thanks again for your input very much appreciated :) Mary

This training is for Adsense, but should work for your needs as well.

wow thank you, all done and dusted and it was sooo easy :)

I'm trying to link my pinterest to my website but don't know what the following means or where it's supposed to go.

Add it to the <head> section of

Great question, I also have had this issue. Thanks for asking.

Xav.

Mary, it's easy. Go and pick an image you want on Pinterest.
Pinterest will ask what website you want it on.

It is right after you pick the image. It'll ask if you want to say something, next just below will ask what is your website.
Not sure if that's exactly what it says but you will know when you see it Mary. Now go and post in there your website.

You need to name that group of images. Now go look at all of them Pinterest will show you all you have. Now press any of the selections you made, it will show your website name under it.

Go check it out! If that's not what you're asking I'm sorry.

You can add a link to Pinterest for verification through All-in-One SEO. Scroll quite a way down and you'll see it.

Thank you :)

If no one answers you, contact Site support with the entire message. They're my heroes!

Hmmm I don't remember doing this when I linked my website.

I find everything so confusing at times and find myself going back to different training in case I missed something. In this case I didn't understand the 2 different ways of linking Pinterest, the 2nd one worked :)

I'm building a new site on a domain I own and when I go to log in get the following message

Your connection is not private
Attackers might be trying to steal your in

Hi Mary. I am having this problem now as well. I started a new site, but every time I try to log in as the admin to start posting it tells me that my connection is not secure.
I did turn on the HTTPS (why is that not standard?)
Did you ever figure out the problem you were having?

I checked the link you provided, and no issue came up when I attempted to comment on the default post published.

Thank you I've given up for now it's 3.19 am will check in the morning and see if its come right after a reboot cheers

Have you switched on SiteSSL (HTTPS) in Site Manager?

I haven't checked, rebooted in case that helped. I actually deleted the site and was trying to start again. It's 3.22am here so I'll call it quits and try in the morning well later in the morning. Thank you

Im having the same issue - how do you switch on SiteSSL. Sorry Im a newbie

Cancel my last request... I found it and it was already on. I toggled it from ON to OFF and back again and it fixed the problem. I was able to log in easy. thanks
