Content - Do You Struggle To Have Enough?

I think everyone struggles with having enough content at some point.

After all, blog posts take some time, effort and research to produce and publish.

Here's a quick tip for making your content multiply a bit without having to come up with a whole different topic. This method is especially for those of you who are actively engaged with syndicating your content around on different social media channels.

Repurpose Your Content!

What does that mean exactly? It means that you can start with a blog post on a specific subject. Then take parts of that post and use it elsewhere on social media, and then perhaps package it all back together again but in a slightly different form at some point in the future and make a new post out of it.

Here's an example -

Let's say your niche is gluten free eating. Here we go...

1. You do a blog post on best way to begin a gluten free diet, and it includes everything a brand new gluten free peep needs to know about how to get started, including some sample gluten free recipes, a beginners list of gluten free foods, and a checklist for getting your kitchen and pantry gluten free ready.

2. You then make a simple YouTube video basically just reading your same blog post. FYI, the minute you deliver your blog post verbally in a video....it basically becomes a new/separate/unique piece of content. Leave a few things out and direct them to your blog post for the full info.

3. Then make a cheat sheet checklist sort of thing out of the checklist for getting your kitchen and pantry gluten free ready. Use Canva or some similar service to make a pretty, professional document out of it that you can give away. Best case scenario is that you create an Opt-in to an autoresponder list and build a list when you give the checklist away. You can then make a post on social media talking about your checklist...blah blah blah....and give them a page where they can go to opt in for this item - preferably on your blog.

4. Then, do same as # 3 above, except with the beginners list of gluten free foods. Rinse & repeat. Be sure you drive them back to your blog in some way.

5. Then, do the same as #3 above again, except with the sample gluten free recipes. And be sure and drive them back to your blog.

6. If you're on Facebook...you could do a FB live video...short and sweet...just saying hey, check out these new gluten free recipes I've got....and send them back to your blog.

So out of one blog post, I've outlined 5 additional pieces of content all using the same similar material but delivered in a completely different way. And this list could get much longer.
