I am wondering if an image can be changed on a template that we've chosen? Also, if I want to change the template on a website to another template, is that possible? If I'm i

By template I am presuming you mean theme. If that's the case then yes some themes are customizable also yes you can change your theme at any time, but remember by changing themes this could create some elements to not be visible.

Hi,

I was actually meaning the images that are already loaded into the themes. Can they be changed? Also, I have tried to change a theme several times on one of my websites and it won't accept the change. I am under the appearance/themes tab inside the area where we customize. I just don't know what I'm doing wrong once I'm under the themes section.

Thanks,
Margaret

To change a theme you should just have to upload and the activate, if this doesn't work may a message to support.

It will depend where the images are as to whether you can change them.

Ok. Thank you so much for your help.

Hi - yes, you will be able to add your own images. This is covered in level 2 of the training. You can change themes whenever you want.

Thanks Diane. Maybe I wasn't clear. I was asking about the images that are already loaded into the template or themes that we can choose for our websites. Can we change those images?

Yes, you can change them. And actually, when you try a few themes on your own site, they will just be a "skeleton" with no images. The preview of the themes just gives you an idea as to how it will look.

Ok. Thank you, Diane.

Hi Margaret,

... you're absolutely correct -- copying other's work is a violation of copyright ... and the search engines will find it ...

here's a post by Kyle that may be helpful to you -- encourage you to continue onward with your training here .... all the best ... :)

Hi - not only is plagiarising unethical, but duplicate content will be spotted by Google, and it would put the site further back in its rankings.

Ideally, you should choose a niche which you are passionate about, and have some knowledge of, which will make it easier to write about.

If you have chosen a subject you know nothing about, not only will knowledgeable readers recognise this, but you may also become bored with writing about it.

You can of course hire writers, but you get what you pay for. At this early stage it may not be cost-effective for you to consider this option.

Take a look at your competitor's websites for ideas and use Google for research purposes. You don't have to be a great writer, just passionate about your subject and be able to get your point across.

WA Affiliate Program

Hi Everyone! Here I go with a "stupid" question although no question is really stupid. I was wondering if I want to promote WA, do I need to sign up in their Affiliate Progra

As soon as you have a WA account you can earn from your referals. If you are a premium member, your earnings will be higher, but also with your starter membership you can earn. So in other words, with a starter membership you are already a WA affiliate. :-)

Thanks. So that is why there are links to copy on some of the pages in training???

There is nothing extra that you need to sign up for. As you go through the training, Kyle will explain where the links are and how to best promote it.

If you want to promote WA, the Bootcamp training might be the best option for you.

Hi Sondra. Thanks. I'm working through the training. Do you think the Bootcamp training is better than the Getting Started training. Should I move over to the Bootcamp training instead???

If you know you want to promote WA, I suggest the Bootcamp training.

The following is my opinion:

Sometimes it is easier to learn how to do affiliate marketing and make money if focus on a niche in an area that your really enjoy. You will be more excited about it. Depending on the niche, you might be able to make money faster.

Doing product reviews and best of lists seems to be the fastest way to create a website that makes money. I can point you to some excellent training posts here at WA that talks about the reviews and best of posts in even more detail than Kyle does in his training. There are also success stories of people that have done really well with those. Most people don't listen to the advise. (I missed it myself for the longest.)

If you go the niche route and do best of lists and review, do the OEC training.

However, if you have been scammed a bunch of times and want to help people avoid scams, promoting WA from the beginning might be perfect for you.

Personally, I don't like talking about scams all that much, so I decided to wait to promote Wealthy Affiliate until I had a lot of experience using it and with affiliate marketing.

Hi Sondra,

I'm going through the Boot Camp training right now, but I'm open to suggestions. Thanks for the advice. I'm not certain what you mean by the best of lists. I guess I haven't covered that yet, but I think it may mean creating bulleted or numbered lists inside your article??? Let me know or send me another training link on it if you don't mind and I'll pour through it. :p)

Here is Dylan's training that talks about the best of lists. This should be done in conjunction with Kyle's training. Dylan's tips are for individual posts and reviews. Kyle is teaching you the big picture stuff that you need to be doing. Zarina is one person that has talked the most about how much it has helped her. It seems like she got her first sale within a week or so.

Thank you, Sondra.

Simple answer - YES!
Its all part of the WA overall program.
Take the Bootcamp as that deals mainly with how to become an affiliate.

Ok. Thanks Robert!

Happy to help.
Enjoy your day.

No, you don't need :).
Just go at the top right menu to the dollar sign and click on Links and Tracking. And you are good to go

Hi Damien. Thanks. Will do that.
