Where would I put rel="nofollow" in the following custom link?

I think amazon links are no follow anyway. Here is an example of a no follow link:
"https://domain.com/product" rel="nofollow"
Another option is to install a plugin called nofollow all external links.
I added a custom link for an Amazon.com product today. I copied the code from Amazon and noticed that it had the rel="nofollow" code in it. So, yes, I think you are right about Amazon links being nofollow. But it doesn't hurt to get in the habit of putting the nofollow code in, because some affiliates won't have the nofollow code.
Here's an easy way to do it.
Go to Appearance - Menus. Then click on Screen Options at top right of page. Check all of the boxes and advanced boxes. Then go to Custom Links, and add a custom link. All you need at this point is the URL and name of the link. Once you create the link, add it to the menu.
Then, open the custom link after it has been added to the Menu tree, and put nofollow in the Link Relationship (XFN) box. You do not need to put rel or the parentheses, just nofollow. Now, Google will not follow the affililate link.
Check the "Open link in a new tab" while you have the custom link open. This IS the same as putting in a target="_blank" code.
Also, go to Title Attribute and put in some text that you want people to see when they hover over an image.
Hope this helps!
This will make any link within a menu no follow but I don't believe it applies to anything outside of that.
Thanks for sharing :)

The issue is not "insecure server" The response "530 Login incorrect" means that you've used the wrong Host name, User name or password.
The most likely problem is that you've got a space before or after one of the things you copied and pasted Fix FTP Connection Issues Hint: if you're hosted at Wealthy Affiliate then your FTP username begins with "ftp" so martycanaday is not the correct username.
Your FTP username and password have nothing to do with your WA username and password.
The Support Team worked some magic and got me going! Thanks for your link. I learned a lot from it.
Yes, I was in the midst of it, enjoying the training, when I got a message from WA Support that they fixed the problem. It was some kind of permission thing on their end.
Seeing both your questions, I would definately put a ticket to Support here, and explain both issues.
Best of Luck, they have always solved problems that I had.

I'm glad that I found this. Do I add my website URL under the Links or Contributor To, under the About Me in Google+?
Thanks.
Google discontinued Authorship in search. But you can connect your website and social media URLs and contributor links in your About Me G+ profile.
While logged in to G+, type or copy and paste the URL below into the address bar - that's where you update your profile and add links, etc.
https://aboutme.google.com/
Or you can go to the above link and sign in from there and it will take you to the 'about' section.

Thanks, Jude! I found the "ContributeTo" buried under "Sites" in G+, so things are good!
Kyle explains all steps for GPlus. I wonder how you missed it. Please check in Certification Courses. I summarized all steps here: How to build website with WordPress - WA way See the step 9.
I searched under Setting up Authorship in Google Plus and brought up the only file I saw from Kyle on this subject. The video was good but his version of Google Plus was not the same as mine.
Even your instructions say, "Adding yourself as contributor to the list of your sites in Google Plus. Go to Profile at G+, About, Contributor to."
I go to Google Plus, then About, but there is no "Contributor to" option on that page in my version of Google Plus.
Cannot say much because I did it long time ago. Make sure you are logged into your profile there. I know that they changed layout a few months ago, so perhaps this is what makes confusion. Sorry.
