Hi folks. I'm choosing a theme for my blog. This Bitz theme by MNKY seems OK. Anybody is using it, already? Is it reliable?. Thanks for your attention.
Andrea
Hello,
I do not have any experience with the theme, but I checked it online...
It is a very new theme (only 9 days released) so be prepared that there will be a lot of updates in the beginning...
For the rest: It looks really great, I think performance is more then fine, it is SEO ready, it is a responsive theme...
I don't know if you want to sell items, but it is compatible with most Woocommere plugins...
I mean, when you like the design and you know what you will put where and so on and when you have the money: just buy the thing!
Grtz,
Bert
Being it that new, there's no need to worry about updates for a while. I wonder if the developer is reliable and supportive.
Have you some theme similar to Bitz (a theme for magazines) which you found easy to handle, yet fully customizable?
Thank you, Bert.
Well, I already encountered problems with it, but they kept updating and updating and at this moment one of the greatest and most beautiful theme is the DIVI theme of elegantthemes, some links with info... ;-)

http://chrislema.com/divi-theme-forever/
http://www.elegantthemes.com/plugins/divi-builder/
http://athemes.com/reviews/divi-theme-review/
But my personal favorites are the genesis themes of Studiopress:
http://my.studiopress.com/themes/ (and select magazine style)
Some pearls are: Devine, Daily Dish & Magazine Pro.
I use the eleven 40 pro theme myself on my how single adults... Website (see profile) and it never failed me..
Those are all Genesis Framework themes and this framework has his advantages: http://www.studiopress.com/features
But you have to create the site and work with it so the choice is yours... :-)
Grtz,
Bert

Hello Marty..
I know themeforest don't offer refunds, I bought a theme from them and only was able to switch to a different theme, not a great experience. When I need a theme for a blog I would recommend those theme shops and they offer 30 day money back.

Hope this helps for future.
