How can I link one topic/ idea from one post to another post?

It worked! thanks Nathaniell!

To link to a specific part of the page, you need to do two things.

1) Create a "jump link" for the section on the target area/page 2) Your link to the page internally on your website, and add the hashtag at the end of the link. Your link will look like MYWEBSITE.com/target-page/#jumplink

(assuming that your jump link uses the name #jumplink)

Let us know if that works!

Thanks Nathaniell! I'm going to try this and I'll let you know if it works.

Hi Isaiah!

Thank you very much for your response! But do you know if is it possible to link only a part of a post to another post?
I wanted to link a part of content from one post to another post because the original post is too long and I wanted to make this part appear first. I'm guessing if it is possible or not using the word press editor.

Thanks again! ;-)

.... looks like you've got a super thread of discussion and answers here already! ... all the best, cheerio ... :)

If you're using the word press editor, the quickest way to do it is to highlight the word or phrase in your current article that you want to create the link on. Then click the "Insert Link Button" in your tools menu above the editor - it looks like 'paperclip' icon.
Next, you will see a "URL" field - in here you want to add the link to the other post. Then click on the "Add Link" button.

See the screenshots below. I hope this helps.
