Quick YouTube Update

My granddaughters are coming for the weekend and I have to make a cake before they get here, so here're my channel stats after one month and 3 posted videos. The next one goes public today at 3 PM CET.
8 subscribers (992 to go before I'm allowed to monetize).
2 hours watch time (3998 to go before I can monetize).
If you have a YouTube channel, let me know and I'll subscribe to it. I'll even watch your videos to give you more watch time. Just do it properly: instead of posting the link in the comments, put it on your own profile page under Follow Me on.

I watched yours and then finally put one up myself!! I have done one or two other's but made mistakes and then chickened out of uploading the video.
You addressed the question of making mistakes in the video I watched - so I decided that I needed to just get on with it and learn as I go along.

I can see your comment only on my notifications but not on the video you watched. I hope YT goes ahead and puts it on the video page.
Apparently, comments are disappearing on YT at the moment (I saw a thread on that somewhere) and my daughter said that it's important to watch the video (or let it play) halfway at least before commenting to make sure YT recognizes it properly.
Talk about a learning curve!
