A First For Me

I wrote a blog to post about chance and opportunity happening for all and I received a red writing notice that my content was not original.

I wrote it all by myself. I did not copy anything except Ecclesiastes 9;11. I would have liked to see the post that was like mine.

This is the first time I have been accused of plagiarism. I did not commit plagiarism. To whomever I do apologize. Maybe Great minds think alike.

I do all of my own writing. If it is in any way similar or just like anyone else's I guess we just have the same opinions.

Hey, it was me! I wrote that passage in the Bible!:)

You look amazing for your age!

Thanks-23 years using our product line for both me and my wife. You are what you eat! Have your Best Day Ever!

I will! I will have to try some of that. Thank you.

I wouldn't worry about this too much. I had something similar happen to me. I was very confused, wondering how something I wrote off the top of my head could be the same as existing content. I pondered this for several minutes, finally said "no, I don't believe that" I tried to publish again and there was no issue, even though I hadn't changed a word.

My writing disappeared. I was going through to add more or take out something but I lost it.

Oh no! That's unfortunate. I hope it wasn't terribly long. I've lost work before, but most of the time it was just a few paragraphs.

I found it and was able to publish. I added a little more content. Thank you.

I see you do your best, the first step is the most important.

Thank you. I try.

I have had the same experience...don't know what their algorythm might be...but what it is seems rather narrow...

Yes it does seem narrow now.

Hi there
sorry to hear about your woes
hope everything is now better for you
keep going and best of luck to you
cheers.PB

Thank you. Cheers.

I am sorry to hear of your experience. Next time if you ever wish to repeat a quote, do so but explain that the quote was said by "x". This will clear up any misunderstandings.

I think I put the verse and scripture there but I did not give credit to Solomon.

It's sad really, that with all the plagiarism going on in online content that your blog was singled out as guilty when all you did is mention a verse in the Bible... You didn't steal it or claim it to be yours... Oh well, just mark it down as a lesson learned. Thank you for sharing.

They did not tell me anything except it was not unique original content. There was much more beside the bible quote. I wish they would have pointed out what wrong.

Hi Marquette, I am sorry to hear it. With the growing members of the community I don't know how we are going to avoid such things. Take charge my dear.

Boniface

Thank you. I don't think it is just the community. I am not sure it might be anything published.

Happen to me also when I wrote about stress management.
It was the quote what was duplicated.

Ok. I can't find my writing. I wonder did they just dump it?

I think it's easily possible in a community of so many to have similar posts.

I have seen several with the same titles.

Hey there,

Well, that would have come as a bit of a shock, I imagine, when you got the red writing notice, from whom did you get the notice?

I'm very much like you, I love writing original content and would never dream of copying someone else, why would I, I don't want to be like someone else, I love being me!

All the best with all the rest of your original content,

Cheers,

Jacqueline

I assumed it came from WA. Thank you. I will keep writing.
