Mary is a special name.
Hi I am back I don't want anyone to be offended by this post. And if you are please forgive me that is not my intention at all. I have seen several new Mary's and that is great and I welcome them to WA. So to make it easy I will be using my nickname instead of my give name. This way it will be less confusing for me and you all of you.
I have been mistaken many times for a different person or a different Mary. Mary is a common name which is great not a problem with that. I have been thinking about this long and hard since I have seen the different Mary's and me using my nickname Marmar would be somewhat easier to tell us apart.
I realize that we have different profile name and that is great. We are all different and I don't want to see any comments to be sent to me that is meant for a different Mary. Only because I think that replies are personal and they should be directed at the right person that is all I am saying.
I just don't want anyone to feel upset about this because I'm not I just think it is great to see more people in the community that is name Mary. One time I was told that we Mary's have to stick together because our name is great. And I took that as a special compliment and that has remained in my heart.
I want all the Mary's at WA to feel special and great because our Name is just that special and great. I hope that all the Mary's feel the way that I do. So please regard this post as a special compliment to our special and great name Mary. Because if any of you remember George Cohan he wrote the song Mary and that is very special to me.

I know what you mean about popular names. My first name is Jennifer, and growing up it was common to have more than one Jennifer in a class and quite confusing as to who the teacher was calling on. My username has been confusing to some. NASCAR fans think it has to do with Tony Stewart, although I never even knew his nickname was "smoke". In actuality, I came up with the name because of my pup Smokey, who is now no longer with us. He was a spoiled Mini Schnauzer, who got whatever he wanted, hence the name Smokey Wins :-) Good luck in your journey here at WA and thanks for sharing!
Thank you for understanding that about the confusion and yes I had a couple of Jennifers in my class as well too. I am sorry about your dog. But I like your name Smokey wins that is a great name.

That’s kind of the same reason I use my middle name as well. I sure don’t want anyone to confuse me with the guy who started WA! I wouldn’t be able to answer anyone’s questions.

Actually Marmar, I was associating you more with the kitten and puppy image! I've since seen more of the same image on other people's profiles but you're the only Marmar/ puppy&kitten;!
That is okay I am glad that you have because I do have two cats and a service dog. And the puppy in the picture is like my husband's service a golden lab. Thank you any way I really appreciate that.
