How I Was Able To Afford This $1,500 Gaming Desktop
Hey there!
First of all I want to start by saying that this is not a post about bragging. As a matter of fact, as far as a gaming desktop goes I don't think I have much to brag about.
I'm writing this post in hopes that I can help you see how you can reach your goals and get some of the things that you want also.
Over the passed couple of years, I've been struggling with computer issues. I would buy cheap computers trying to cut corners since I really didn't have money to buy a good one.
So when my laptop died in November, I decided that enough was enough. I was going to take control of my life and situation. I wasn't going to settle for a crappy computer and I was tired of fighting with getting it to work.
So along with my hubby's insistance, lol, I started to entertain the thought of a gaming desktop. This makes sense to me because I play video games.
I was going to 'cheap out' and buy a PS4 Pro (I know, that's partly a joke if you know how much they cost, haha!) but I didn't want to fight my computer anymore either because I also edit a LOT of videos including training videos here at WA.

You can see that I'm a very thorough, maticulous person so having a computer that crashes when you're editing is NOT an ideal situation, lol. Its quite frustrating actually.
The thing was, that we were also moving and taking on more financial responsibilities. So I was skeptical about purchasing such an expensive computer.
I didn't believe it was possible until I realized that I could SAVE the earnings I was making from my sites. If I saved them for a couple of months and made some sacrifices, I would be able to buy the computer.
It wasn't easy to do but putting in that order was the best experience! It also came to more than I wanted to pay for it, lol, I almost backed out of it to tell you the truth.
But I did it because I NEVER do anything nice for myself. I'm always thinking about what everyone else around me wants/needs and often sacrifice my own wants/needs to my detriment if I have to for them to have it.
So I used my site earnings to get me a nice computer and screen and I can say that I absolutely love my desktop. Call me old fashioned but I just love a desktop better than a laptop and its been SO LONG since I've had a desktop.
I know it might not be a top knotch gamind desktop but it its just perfect for me. And believe it or not, the thing I love most is that it has lights that I can change the color of and my keyboard is lit up like a rainbow! LOL!
Its awesome to have lights on your computer stuff. haha!
Well, all that to say this. You too can have what you want.
Do you want to go on vacation? or invest money in something or just live with the peace of mind that you have savings in your account for the unexpected things that you know are going to come up sooner or later.
Whatever you do, make sure that you do something for YOURSELF too. Even if you have to sacrifice to save up, you can put your earnings into anything you like.
It does take time, consistency, and lots of effort. But it is ALL worth it when you receive your rewards no matter how big or small they are.
Only you can do it for yourself though. And you won't achieve it being spammy, chasing fast money methods or jumping from one thing to the other.
I can tell you from experience, the niches that I'm in no one would believe I am making money in them. As a matter of fact, the people who I have told have made statements about being a dreamer, not facing reality, needing to get a 'real' job and more.
I bet that people have said similar or other things to you as well. Just let it fly over your shoulder and keep on creating consistent, quality content.
Because now those same people are wondering how I did it too. So I'm telling you now how I did it and hopefully you keep on going.
It won't happen instantly but it will happen in time. Different times for different people but it will happen.
So keep up the good work, Keep on dreaming and keep on keeping on even after you get what you want/need.

What I normally look at is the graphics card has to be the best or near to it. I think this is the most important part for me and the rest of the computer has to be able to support it.
So next I look at the Ram, Processor and hard drive. It had to be able to play games while streaming and it had to be able to edit videos without skipping, freezing and crashing. It also had to be able to hold the files I needed and save videos, etc. without running out of space or memory.
I'm quite pleased with it. Only thing I didn't like was that it didn't come with a CD/DVD/Blu-ray tray built into it which I completely missed during research.
But then I figured I could get an external, which I did. I also didn't fuss about it because if it were that important I would have looked for it in the first place, lol. I was so exhausted by looking at that point.
The price was also a factor. Like I said, I had to save up so I was looking for a good deal. This one was on sale, had awesome reviews and was a really good deal for the price.

Thanks! Yes, it will happen. It took me years to reach this point and I'm still got more growth ahead of me. I'm excited for it all and am learning to take my time. Things will come as long as I stay consistent and work hard for them and that's what I want to share/encourage others to do as well. ;)
