Done Cert. Course Level 2! And onwards I go!
I'm having so much fun with this! Why on earth is website building, going through lessons, learning about affiliate marketing, and network building SO ADDICTIVE?? :)
As I wrote in my profile, this is my "second go" at affiliate marketing. I feel WAY more in control this time around. I learned a ton back in 2011 when I dabbled in it, but thanks to WA, I feel like everything is coming together much more this time around, and I'm a whole lot more task and goal-oriented.
The stakes are higher this go too.
My husband and I have two toddlers... that we'd like to send to a private Christian elementary school in our city. It is not covered by government funding, as only public and Catholic schools receive gov't support where we live. Anyhow, it's EXPENSIVE. And looking ahead to when the pre-tuition and tuition payments start, I will likely have to go back to work somewhere to help cover the costs. And that scares me. Not because I'm scared of the workforce. Been there, done that. For many years. I'd just rather not have our kids to become part of the day-care cycle and latch-key kids. (Yes, there are many, many well-turned out kids who have done so, and many wonderful day-cares, but our first choice is for one of us to be the primary care-giver at all times.)
So, long story short... IF I can make affiliate marketing successful, even to the tune of say, $500-$1000/month working 10-15 hours a week at it, I won't have to search for another job outside the home!! The Dream. I think, anyways.

I am not sure you will need much in the way of luck Marlaine. Looks like you have a plan and routine will established, best wishes moving forward to your goals.
Congratulations. Having time with the children while earning the money for the private school. Fantastic niche. I just started Level 2.

It's tricky finding the time, gotta say. But I'm trucking along nicely enough. :)
Problem with the niche is that costumes aren't high payouts... oh well. Lots of traffic will equal lots of sales, hopefully.
I wish you good fortune in your affiliate marketing career. I understand want to give a better opportunity to your children. I am sure you can do, doesn't sound like you'll have any issues with excitement level or passion and you mentioned two awesome motivators.
