How is my ranking staying the same when I still continue to interact with the site and also with adding comments and writing blogs?

For your website, Mark, keep writing relevant content! For WA, keep being active! The former is the most important!

Jeff

Thanks Jeff, for your feedback.

You're welcome, Mark!

Jeff

Don't worry about it, it is only a number with no relevance.

Thank you Geoffrey for your feedback :)

Hi, Marktimenow, the genius, and experienced. Ranking up, see up my ranking, but I am also telling you as at WA we are professional students.

Thank you for your feedback :)

Hey
I find a priority to keep adding content to my site. Did you know it takes 35 weeks or more for your posts to start getting noticed by the search engines?

I do that but to no avail. I wasn't aware of that Lula regarding 35 weeks to get noticed in Google, thank you for the information.

You're welcome.
Please reach out when needing help or a hand.

Hi

Is this in relation to WA?

This is an internal WA ranking system.

It has no bearing on your business activities or success, there's no benefit or monetary value added to it vs. being active and helping "Paying it Forward" in the community.

However the priority should always be your business vs being active on the platform. When you become established you may come back and help other folks going forward.

If for your sites, you need keep updating blog with original content 2 - 3 times a week a niche a site and that's for the foreseeable future.

Consistency is key and Google loves consistency.

Thanks Abie for the information and brings me to my next question to go up the rankings in WA? What is required?

I just want to see some progress, because I don't seem to move up regardless of my ongoing interaction with the site.

Resource I shared above explains it all.

Thank you, Abie, for the info. :)

So very welcome.

I would like someone to please explain how to categorize a post in Wordpress. Any assistance in this matter would be most appreciated.

Hi

You can edit your categories under Posts tab and then assign your posts to their different categories.

Add them categories to your menu and add a # in the link space if you do want your category to have a destination. You can add many subcategories to your one category.

So when your visitors click a specific category on your site, they can see all assigned posts in relation to the category they have selected.

Lula has also shared awesome resources with you, I would check them out.

Wonderful, thank you :)

You're welcome.

I was wondering how many courses and links should you promote on your website without it looking ridiculous and spam-filled?

There seem to be a couple of schools of thought, Mark! I hope you get the answer to what you are looking for!

Jeff

Thank you Jeff, I just try to keep striving onwards.

We are all on that road, Mark! You're very welcome!

Jeff

You will only apply two or three links to any review post that you write.

Thank You Geoffrey for the advice.

Wow, do the best that helps you generate leads

Hi Mark
This is a good question, the answer seems to vary depending on who you are talking to though.
I personally do not like websites that are selling me something at every turn so my links are quite well spaced out and varied (by that I mean a slightly different offer - one would be for an ebook and another may be for a free email training sign up for example).
Other people enjoy success with loads of "in your face" advertising and pop up offers (these I have a special dislike for, again, that is personal).
In the training Jay gives, he prefers the "less is more" approach.
Hope that helps you.
Blessings
Louise

Thank you Louise for your reply, that's the way I'm heading with not wanting to put too many links or courses on my website. I just wanted to know really do people put a link on every post that they publish? This obviously would seem a lot and more about spamming rather than a website that is beneficial for people.

It's not about "how many things should I promote", it's about "how can I connect people with things that help them".

If you have 1,000 pieces of content, you may be promoting 1,000 different things... Similarly, you may just be promoting 1 thing. There's no right or wrong.

Thank you Dale for your reply. Most appreciated :)
