In for the long haul 30 year plan

Last Update: June 12, 2017

Recently I was talking with a friend about my business, my website, and she told me a great story that made me think.

This Lady would have been in her mid 60's at the time and she saw a very prominent and success businessman at the airport.

She is a real people person and went up to him and started chatting. She had recently come up with an idea for a business and started to tell this gentleman about it. He said he thought it was a great idea and proceeded to ask her what her "30 YEAR" plan for the business was.

This stopped her in her tracks and she replied: "Oh my goodness, I have no idea, I don't think I'll even live another thirty years."

With that, he said if you don't have a 30-year plan you will never get there, but if you do, you will find yourself so obsessed with it that you will reach it easily.

So often here on WA, we hear folk talking about being in for the long haul when others are asking "How soon before we start making money".

I believe it is ultra important to be patient keep doing what we have been doing and build that base.

So my challenge to you all is:-

What is your 30-year plan?

Love to hear your thoughts, plans and aspirations.

PS Now I gotta go do my 30-year plan. :)
