If my time ran out because of no sales on the Amazon Associate platform, and I reapplied and got active again, do I need to go through my site and change all my product links,

Mark, Diane has provided the right answer below.

So be sure that you switch out the old Amazon Links.

By the way, did you know that Amazon has decreased its commission structure for all affiliates?

You may want to look for other alternatives that will pay you higher commissions as you move forward with your site.

Hi - you will now have a different ID, so yes, you have to swap all your links over. The old links will still take visitors to Amazon, but you won't get any commission.

Most likely you will have to change them. I think that the links are different every time you requested it. I haven't been able to have the product links to work on my site. So by re-linking the products over and over, I see the difference. As of now, I still can't get it to work. Good luck with yours.

Thanks. There's really not that many. But it just makes sense to do it. If I didn't have to, I'd like to have saved the step. Clicking the links brings me to Amazon with the product. Thought that doesn't mean my credit for putting the viewer there does.

Hi - are you saying your Amazon links don't work? Are you adding them correctly? Here is a video which may help.

You're the best Diane!!!. I did everything on the first try by following the video you've provided. I still don't understand why Kyle's video did not help at all after watching it over and over numerous times and applying it. Maybe that video is outdated and needs to be re-addressed. Thanks to you over a million times over.

No. I never said that. Haha

Hi. Your spellcheck is down. I don't know if anyone else made you aware. But I checked on live chat, and another member came accross the same issue. It is on both phone and lap

This was brought up. I tried again and it work. Maybe click on the save and then try again. See if that works.

Thanks. They got it up in running. I edited the article before I published, then twice after. Haha. Found a lot, but went through w/o the grammar check because I didn't want to miss my publishing schedule

My question is, in being consistent, is it better to just plug away and publish when you're finished, or have a set day(s)? Does Google want a set schedule, or you to fill up y

Hi! Anytime you want to publish is up to you. It doesn't have anything to do with Google. What you should do is aspire to publish content every day or many as you can like I do when I finish it I publish it every day but sometimes we can't do the daily blogs. Just go ahead with what you can do the best you can. Cheers! Florentino

That brings another question :

What quality can one produce in doing it every day? I feel it takes time to make quality content. I guess I just don't get what you can talk about everyday without the research and time it takes to put something together very well.

I consider the SEO aspect along with audience info, interest, & relevance. What's your secret to making those things line up every day?

Indeed. Unless you are prepared for a lot of work and research and has an advance piece ready each day, it would be very difficult. Go for quality rather than quantity! You don't need to have more when the quality is compromised. Focus on quality and relevant content with at least 1 post a week and be consistent with your delivery, say every Monday post you should do your post. So people who follow you will carry on following you! Cheers!

Google likes fresh updated content on an ongoing basis but doesn't care which day or what schedule you set up for that.

Each time you publish a new post, it triggers the google search bots to visit your site. It doesn't have to be on a "set" schedule.

Some bloggers prefer to be disciplined and set a publishing schedule because it keeps their own momentum up. But Google cares more about the relevance of your content to searchers.

Publishing quality content regularly is recommended as a way to build a loyal readership and also attract new traffic. ~Jude

That just hasn't been my experience. I've been consistent for 6 months and I'm only at 50% in that category rating. My search engine site trust is now higher than my consistency at 60%. Of course I view that as more important but I am being consistent and it's frustrating that every 6 days is not enough

Hi - Site Trust increases by 10% every month, it is based solely on the age of the site. There is no way to speed up this process.

Huh... That's good to know actually. Thank you

Great question. I've wondered what the true answer is, however--at this point I've tried both ways.

My experience is that when I publish using a schedule for every 3 days my site health goes through the roof. Seems that's where Google quenches it's thirst for me.

If I just publish content as I finish it, my site health is not in a consistently good category (it's up & down).

My resolve is that if I set my content publishing in a consistent 3 day or 4 day schedule Google senses and expects that as a benchmark and penalizes my health if I deviate from it.

I hope this helps but this is my own observation.

Can you share your niche? It's helpful in understanding what you're writing about.

Sure. Family Safety and Home Security. If your like I can pm you anything you'd like

I try to be consistent on a weekly basis I.e. 2-3 posts per week. It can hurt your ranking if you have long periods between posts.

I have the same question. What niche allots you the time to post 2-3 times a week. (Maybe you have more free time). But it's helpful to know. Thanks

My first site is about drones in general. That said, I work from home so I use my breaks, lunch and down time often for working on my site. I will also take weekends to queue up an article or two for later posting.

Thank you for your feedback. It helps with perspective

Any time. I should add that for the past 3 weeks I have not been hitting my post goals but that's due to life interfering so it's on me.
