Inspiring Quote - Determination

I recently saw the 2014 movie called, 'Unbroken'.
It's based on the book, Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience, and Redemption by Laura Hillenbrand,
The film is about the life of USA Olympian and army officer Louis Zamperini.
When his bomber plane crashes into the ocean during World War 2, he manages to survive in a raft for 47 days.
Then he's picked up by the enemy and sent to a series of Japanese prisoner of war camps.
What he experiences in these camps is just awful and enough to make anybody give up.
He is determined not to be broken by his circumstances however, remembering his brother's words when he was much younger, training for the Olympics.
"If you can take it, you can make it."
Whether his brother said these words in real life or whether it was scripted for the movie I don't know, but regardless of which, I love these few simple words which are so powerfully encouraging.
What we are doing and our lives do not come even close to prisoner of war camp torture, but sometimes, doing the things we do, even writing a blog post can feel like our own torture.
When situations like these arise we would do well to remind ourselves that if we can take it, and not give in,not give up, no matter what, then we can make it.

Mark, once again a wonderful inspiring post. I know I need the encourage ment to push myself to work out all the nuts and bolts to build a successful online business. Thank you.
Truly words of encouragement. One never knows who the next person is, unless they walk a mile in their shoes. Read that somewhere. Yep great work Mark.

We all torment ourselves. We need to remember the words you quoted earlier. There is no obstacle that we can not overcome except those of our own making. Jerry

What an extraordinary mental power Zamperine had.
Thank you Mark for reminding me of this
Yes, I have to recall this every time I feel down.
Won't give in,
Won't give up,
no matter what!!

Hi Pernilla,
I wasn't expecting much from the movie to to be honest but but in the end I found it to be most inspirational.
