Staying With WA Indefinitely?
A commenter on one of my websites earlier asked me whether it would make any sense to stay with WA once their website income was enough to replace what they were earning at their job. Although I can understand why someone would ask a question like that, once you know what all you're getting with your membership, it actually doesn't make sense to leave. I can't imagine why I would and my website income hasn't even come close to replacing my freelancing income yet. I've just accepted that no matter what I do with my online business ventures, I'll not only save tons of money, but also make more money by staying.
For one thing, I intend to make multiple sites. I have two so far and know for a fact that you'll never get this combination of hosting, site security, training and technical support this cheap anywhere else. I mean, it's not dollar-menu cheap, but when you break it down, you get it all here in one place. If you intend to keep your sites running well into the future, you'll have to keep up with all the latest news pertaining to SEO, online business, affiliate marketing, technology, etc... This is the best place to do so, if you ask me.
As if that wasn't enough, the affiliate program is another excellent reason to stay. What would be the sense in leaving WA, if you're getting commissions from bringing new members into WA? That can add up to a lot of money that one wouldn't otherwise be getting outside of the platform. It more than pays for the membership, especially if you have a yearly subscription purchased on Black Friday.
So no, I don't see myself ever leaving WA. I decided some time ago that this was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. With that said, I can't think of any better way to go about it or any reason why I would want to do it from outside WA.
Best wishes to everyone!
Mark

Staying here is a no-brainer.
I log into the platform on a daily basis for the tools and knowledge I need to run my online business.
Thanks for sharing Mark.
Thanks for the post Mark.
I think members will make a decision to leave WA or stay for a variety of reasons. I find it quite sad that good people have to leave for purely financial reasons and I've seen that quite a lot.
In my case, I'm a member of other programs apart from WA and I could justify leaving to myself but I won't. I moved 2 websites here, and apart from updating the occasional plugin, they're now pretty much stress-free.
The comments feature for me is golden, especially to kick-start new posts.
The free Jaxxy tool is great.
And that's without going into all the other benefits here at WA!
If you're actively promoting WA and making more than your outlay, it makes zero sense to leave, as you say.
So, I'm in the stay forever camp - it just makes my online life so much easier...
P.S. I'm also a full-time freelancer but I'm transitioning to more passive income with affiliate marketing.
Yes, definitely! Jaxxy is magnificent. I've seen other keyword tools out there, but they're really lacking by comparison. And yes, the comment feature is priceless. I requested three today and ended up with something like 15, lol. Not sure how that worked out, but I'm definitely not complaining and I'd be insane to give that up.
It certainly does and if we construct our blogs the right way, then we have a great branding tool, which leads on to other affiliate ventures we promote or connected with and is in my opinion ...
Better than say MLSP, which is the closest thing I can think of by comparison at this time
