Consistency
Of all the important factors governing your success, one easily makes the biggest difference: consistency. This is just as true in the rest of your life, as it is here at WA. No matter how much you learn, it won't help if you don't apply it often enough.
So be relentless in the pursuit of your goals and dreams. Tackle them each day, even if it's just a couple small things you do to advance them. We all have busy lives, in addition to what we do here. But it's often these little things we do that add up to something bigger, over time. Something that would otherwise not exist, for lack of consistent effort.
When I look back on the regular jobs I've had, before becoming a writer and starting my own business, I never wanted to be there any longer than I had to. That's true of most regular jobs. But this is YOUR business and your BEST chance of escaping that crazy rat-race, so you can eventually spend more time living a quality life.
Here is where it makes the most sense to apply your time and energy. Learn all you can possibly can from the training, videos, blog posts, and everyone here. But learn from experience, too. Get in there and do it! Do SOMETHING to advance what you're working toward, each and every day.
Best wishes to everyone!

Mark,
Thanks for sharing this is great motivation for me
to get something besides my WA done each day LOL
I do great with consistency here but let other things
go because I just love being here instead :)

I feel ya, lol. It's hard to balance everything out. I write freelance for a living, so it's easy to get caught up in doing that and neglect my websites. It's actually more fun to write for my sites, than for some of the clients I've had. But until I can replace my freelance income with website income, I still have to do it. It does help to set aside specific time for each task, though. Even if it's just 15 minutes to organize material for the next post, it's better than letting it sit until you can't even remember what you were going to write about or where you left off.

Thanks for sharing. I got out of the rat race 11 years ago to do what I want to do, where I want to do it , and when I want to do it. WA is an addiction that I can handle and still enjoy my absolute freedom.

I feel ya. The more time I spend doing this, the more I want it. Can't say I've ever felt that for any ordinary job I've had.
