Off the grid!
Hey good people, some of you may have noticed that I've been a little quiet lately to say the least........to be honest I got into some lazy habits for which I have severely berated myself.
Needless to say, this has had a negative effect on my rankings here. Not that that's the be all end end all, far from it, but the trend can tend to creep into your online activities as a whole.
Do you recognise this in yourself? If you do, you need to snap out of it quicksmart because that way lies failure, the end to your dreams and the negating of the very reason(s) for coming here in the first place.
Whatever your "why" was when you signed up to join WA, you have to constantly remind yourself of it when things get a little tough, you find your efforts tailing off or your dreams getting further away.
As I've said many times previously, it's all here for us....heck, it's all here for me...we just need to grab it and run as hard as we can for as long as it takes. Don't be that person again that you said you wanted to get away from when you came onboard!!
Anyway, I've given myself a sharp dressing down and several hundred lines...
"I must get back into the Wealthy Affiliate mode"
"I must get back into the Wealthy Affiliate mode"
"I must get back into the Wealthy Affiliate mode"
Well, you get the picture, so expect more interaction from me from here onwards and please don't forget your dreams, get to work and make them your new reality.

We all get pulled away at times, the hard part is getting back into the swing of things. Take a little action every day and before you know it, you will be obsessed again!
I like your word "obsessed" Gina.....that was me a while ago, all the way up from complete newbie to rank 9 in about 14 weeks but I was really spending all of my time in here and no time on my life.
Now I've been spending time on my life and none in here and it shows!!
My new word has to be "balance"......do what NEEDS to be done both in here and out there and make sure there's some equilibrium between the two.
Thanks for the words Gina, much appreciated.

I hear you, good ol' balance. That is what I have been doing lately. Had to stop neglecting the family, house, etc. It is tough to keep up with my website and I do not publish often enough, but I keep telling myself what Dory said "Just keep swimming. Just keep swimming."
Sure does Sami.....just got to make sure it doesn't stop us dead in our tracks and that we can get going again.

Hi Ray
Did you ever see the 80's film Flash Gordon where Brian Blessed utters his wonderful line.....

That's what I immediately thought of when I saw your post, thanks very much!
Mark
It's a great film Ray, a spoof on the old Flash Gordon cartoons back in the day....good fun all day long!

Oh you've started me off now Ray........Queen are my all time favourite band and the theme from Flash is one of my favourite opening concert tracks. It opened Queens '82 concert at Milton Keynes Bowl and was absolutely spine tingling!! I should know, I was there :-)
"Flash"........

What an awesome way to start the day.
Cheers Ray

I just watched the clip, that's great! I loved Queen from mid 70's - early '80s too. That was when they started to use "synthesiser" wasn't it, Flash...
Up until the early 80's all of their albums proudly stated " no synthesisers"........don't need them when you're top quality musicians!!
Glad you like the clips Ray and thanks for the reminders this morning :-) Have a great day.
