I don't like BS
Today I received a private message from someone who shall remain nameless. The gist of the message was that he had been following my posts for some time and that he really admired my work. He really laid it on thick.
And the upshot was that he would like to write a guest post on my website.
And the strange thing is that he didn't start following me at wealthy affiliate until after he sent the private message.
I wouldn't bother mentioning this except that he has probably sent the exact same copy and paste message to many other people.
Have you received a similar private message?

Hi Marion,
I have not received the same communication which I doubt that I will I have only been here for couple of months now.
My concern is that as you stated in your responses to Loes and James, that you are concerned for other members not being duped by this member.
To me that would be more the reason to let Kyle or Carson know that they are producing duplicate posts here and on their own website a clear violation of WA blog posting rules.
If this member will stoop to tactic of feeding members BS to be allowed to post guest blogs and if they are posting duplicate material.
Now in most situations I would rather educate the violator and to castigate them but it seems that these are not accidental violations but intentional.
Maybe they should get a slap on the wrist to see if this will convince them that this is not the platform for such shady carrying ons and to either straighten up or get shipped out.
Something to think about,
Calvin
I did click on the Report Spam button this time, Calvin. My concern is for the rest of this community.
LOL I guess I am officially a member of this klan,
I received the one sent to me this morning it got lost in the system, maybe it was because I set the no BS allowed setting on my PM's LOL .
BOY does he ever lay it on thick, got to give him credit he did read my profile. Because he would not have made the comment in his message if he had not read it.
I did report it as soon as I opened and I see that Kyle has been well alerted of his activities,
So I guess now, we can go back to resuming normal and enjoying each others company in our own little spam free world !!

Hello Marion.
I got quite a few of those kind of messages earlier in the year and I completely ignored them. I suggest you do the same.
Love your pic of the Highland Cow.
I look out my kitchen window and can see four in a field.
The farmer will be taking them in soon as its getting quite cold here now and the grass has stopped growing.
Have a great Tuesday Marion.
Robert
It is, reminds me of my time in the Highlands of Scotland in my young days working on the land.
There is a farm just across the road where I live and he has 4.
He enters them in agricultural and farm stock shows.
Hope you are well and achieving success.
Robert
My concern is that other members may be too trusting and not see through the web of deception.
I know what you mean, and you're right. Some might not quite see the woods for the trees.
It's a good job people like you exist and can see right through these shady characters.
That is a very wise thing to do, Loes. I sometimes use Copyscape, but I don't think it catches everything. So I also use the option on smallseotools.com
Yes, I have, and I directed him to my page on my website where he could read my requirements, as I am accepting guest posts.
I would be very careful that he doesn't submit duplicate content. I would also like to point out that what he wrote in the PM is contrary to what is on his profile page. Take care.
Thanks, I think I will not hear of him again, my requirements bar is too high ;) and I am NOT giving access to anyone who wants to place a guest post.

Hi Marion:)
I received a similar PM over a week ago, except that mine said that this person was writing a blog about mistakes beginning bloggers make, and asked me to contribute.
I checked this person's bio. and followers, and several of them were commenting about this person's site, and how wonderful it was.
So...this past Saturday, I sent this person a PM. It was followed up with another PM about how excited this "person" was about this post because Kyke would be contributing!
It may not be the same person, but I just assumed it was legit.
Blessings:)
Suzi
It may be a totally different person, Suzi. The person who contacted you may be legit.
I'm hoping! It's strange that we received an email within a week of each other, though. Strange...
