I want to migrate to another local hosting. They need my siterubix sign in data. Where do I find that?

If you purchase a domain name and host it with your other hosting provider, you should be able to go to your SiteRubix website and export your Pages/Posts, then import them to the WordPress that you installed on the new domain name.

Hi - as the others have said, you are using a free siterubix website, and it cannot be moved to another hosting provider. It is not your property, you can only move purchased domains.

Hi Marina. You can't move a siterubix domain. It remains the property of WA. Only paid domains can be moved. Jim

Ask Site support, submit a ticket. However I don't think you can migrate a siterubix one - you may need back up your site and move it to another domain. Click websites, site support.

Where do I track traffic on my website, on my blog?

Hi - you will have to set up Google Analytics, but this is not something you need to be concerned with just yet. Your website has not even been found by Google, so it won't be receiving any visitors, as it is not in Google's search engine. This is called indexing and you will get an email when it happens.

So I have to do something to be found on Google?

Hi - no, it happens automatically, but it can take a few weeks.

Is it nessesery to write as much as possible or that has nothing to do with it?
Second google analitics setup is in the wa site or my website?
Im not a premium, so thank you for answering.

After your website has been found by Google, then each post you write will also have to be indexed individually to be added to its search engine. It does speed up the process if you write regularly.

You need to set up Analytics through Google.

https://marketingplatform.google.com/about/analytics/

Don't forget, that as a starter member, you won't be able to ask questions after your first 7 days, so if there isn't anything else you need to know, now's the chance to ask.

I know, I have loads of questions. But not enough time with 2 kids...

1.I dont understand how will google find me.
2. What does it mean index it? How do I do that?

Google is constantly crawling the internet in search of new information. At some point, it will come across your website and add it to its search engine. That is what indexing means. It's the same with any posts you write. As Google's robots crawl the internet, it will also find your posts.

Youre so helpfull Diane!
So I entered google analitics. What can I use it for. Give me some pointers

Analytics shows a huge amount of information, but realistically, you are not going to use it for the first few months, as you will be unlikely to get much traffic.

It will show you how many visitors you have had, where they are from, whether they are using desktop or mobile, how long they spent on your website, which posts they looked at etc.

Thank you so much...
Can you tell me how do I add sign up for email on my blog?

That's not possible when you are using a free website.

So theres no way to learn on my own and do things like that

Hi - you would need to add a plugin or an autoresponder, and that's not possible with your free website. So, even if you knew what to do, you wouldn't be able to.

If you have further questions, once you can no longer communicate, you can type them in the grey search bar at the top of the screen. Or look on YouTube.

Has anyone had success with just the basic?

I don’t think so. The more training, the better. As a Starter member, you will receive limited training.

This is interesting question! As I upgraded to Premium the same day when started in October 2019! Curious to know the answer from other Starter members!

Hi - you need to apply to join affiliate programs. They will inspect your site to see if it is suitable before they approve you. If approved, they will give you links to put on your website to promote their products. The affiliate programs will pay you direct if somebody buys something through your links.

It is far too early for you to apply to join affiliate programs. You need to write about 15 articles first. The programs will expect to see lots of content on your website.

Ok, so I write my posts without any links or anything.... After I can come back and put the links if they aprove? Where do I join affiliate programs?
Thank you Diane

Hi - your first few posts should be purely informational with no selling intent. You can then start doing some product reviews, and you can add links later.

You can search in Google for affiliate programs to join, or you can use the WA feature on the left-hand side menu to find some.
