Success is a Continuous Journey

Success is a continuous journey.

Have you ever used the term the tipping point? I used it recently when I told my husband I think I have reached the tipping point at last about this business of mine.

The look on his face was one of relief! He has believed in me and has always been the support I needed urging me not to give up.

The tipping point is when a series of small changes or happenings become great enough to cause a larger more substantial change.

For ages, I have been muttering to myself that all I need is the purpose for my business, and all will be well.

I have learned a great deal about Internet marketing thanks to the information available on the Internet and the generosity of successful people who share their marketing information. I kept searching and searching for more information and was completely overwhelmed and to be honest fed up with the lack of success.

I understood what was involved in establishing an Internet-based business, but I couldn’t get my vision. I had no idea what I could deliver that people want.

I realised I had learned a lot (in small steps) to reach this stage. I had a couple of small successes. I built up a list of 500 people with a series of English lessons I gave away in an email course. I successfully held a page one position for years on Google for the keyword phonics for kids on a Wordpress blog I created. But I made no income at all.

I have just completed reading Julie Andrews: An Intimate Biography - Richard Stirling. A biography I highly recommend. She has had an amazing career and she is a remarkable person. However, she spent a lot of time trying to overcome the tag of being too good to be true and her association with children. I am sure she is over that now! Children and her wholesome image have established her as the star she is.

I have spent most of my working life working with children and thought that maybe a change would suit me? I tried some avenues that came to a dead end. But each experience presented small changes in me and I knew I wouldn’t give up.

One of the best lessons I learned was that successful people don’t arrive at success by themselves.

My tipping point came when I told a friend I am re-joining Wealthy Affiliate. I am not looking anywhere else for direction.

The keyword lesson finally did it. I came up with the keyword activities for smart kids.

That was when the tipping point came.

My focus is on the parents of smart kids (every kid by the way) and finding the best products available to support the education of children.

I am now on Level 3 at Wealthy Affiliate with a clear sense of direction at last.

I wish you the tipping point experience. Keep going step by step with the Wealthy Affiliate education and yours will come.
