I am sure this has been answered before, but I can't find it :) I wanted to know how to schedule my posts.

Over to the top right corner while in the post editor where it says Publish Immediately, click it and you can change to a specific date. Dont click the actual publish button, its in the box above the publish button.

Awesome thanks

I know reddit is one of them, as I currently use it. But, what are some other good sites that are effective that I can generate backlinks from.

I was going to answer, but then I noticed Kyle already gave an A+ answer... but yea, Backlinks are really a thing of the past. Get that strong keyword Content flowing on your page. Follow the training here and don't skip any courses. Before you know it, site trafficking will be coming on.

Also feel free to use the search bar on top of the page. Search for many of the social media subjects. That will also generate some traffic... but don't start focusing on social media until your site has content flowing on a normal basis.

Backlinks from .EDU and .GOV sites are quite valuable (The Best). Here's a few resources for you to read.

The best way to get backlinks is to not "get" backlinks and let them happen naturally as people find your content and link to it.

Manufactured backlinks will offer no value to your business, in fact, quite the contrary. Do not spend any time getting backlinks, rather focus your time and energy on building out your quality content and getting engagement taking place on your website (using the SiteComments platform here).

Okay thanks Kyle. That makes alot of sense

I just started my site http://www.legitonlineriches.com and I checked my stats on Google Analytics and I noticed I have gotten 9 page views and 50% bounce rate.

I would say good, my sites are between the 60-80%

You will get there

Yes, the lower the better. Bounce rate is the percentage of single page visits (or web sessions). It is the number of visits in which a person leaves your website from the landing page without browsing any further.

Okay, awesome. So I am doing good so far ☺

Lol, you will get it lower ☺

Yes, indeed! :-)

It's lower than mine! LOL!

I hurt my back about 4 years ago and have been in pain ever since. I know many others go through the same thing. Do you think that niche would be to broad or a good niche?
</

Depends on what you know of all different causes on backpain, I think. When you have it to broad, you can get question which you can't answer. You can narrow it down to devices or therapy or something like that, think of where you know much of

Yes, I plan on narrowing it down..

I too have had sciatica for about a year now. A big effect on quality of life isn't it? Don't sit too much, keep as mobile as possible, so the doctors say, depending on which u go to see. Some say lie down for a few days with no exercise, some the opposite thing, don't lie down. I believe keeping mobile works best, I believe my sciatica is caused by sitting too much at the computer, weakening my lower back and eventually slipping a disk. Keep mobile, it does seem to help, don't sit too long, stretch it, massage it.

As for your niche, maybe not too broad, perhaps u could use your particular diagnosis as a sub niche? But I am not an expert on niches, so don't listen only to me. Anyone agree with my diagnosis?

Yes, I do believe that is my problem as well. I sit most of the day in front of my computer most of the day and not that mobile. I already have 3 slipped disks and degenerative disk disease. I am thinking of joining a gym tho to help get myself active again and strengthening my back.

Proving your credibility and building trust with your target audience is critical.Sometimes narrowing down your niche coupled with your knowledge and expertise will allow you to give information that a broader approach cannot achieve.

Good advice!

Hi Marie, I think it would be a great niche, it gives you plenty of options and focus points that you can target.

Yes, I am beginning to think so too

I think that the back pain niche is a very good niche but you should narrow it down. back pain exercises, back pain exercises for men, back pain exercises for women, upper back pain stretches, lower back pain stretches or back pain during pregnancy.

When you narrow a broad niche down. You can get the targeted prospects you are after that will take the necessary actions that will get you the results you are looking for.

Hope this helps.

Very good ideas..I know I had to do back exercises when I went through therapy after i first hurt my back .

Nope. In fact I'm having surgery on my cervical spine next week.

A site that is generalized as back pain and the broken down by pages that describe the four spinal sections would have been great for me to get more knowledge on the subject.

You'll have a ton to write about. You could also narrow by sections of the spine, which is also the back per se.

Great niche for sure.

ROCK ON!
E

Thanks, i wish you well on your surgery. I was supposed to have surgery as well but workmans comp didn't want to dish out the money.

Thank you Marie.

I was the lucky bastard to get hit by an 18 Wheeler on my way to work back in February. Hit and run too.

Anyway, a metal plate and some screws shouldn't be too too bad, I hope.

I wish you well getting better to. I also wish you the best success with your online e business.

Oh lord, your lucky to be alive. I wish you well too and an speedy recovery!

Thanks! I have much more to accomplish here so I feel I've been given more time to help others.

Ummm .... Recovery is going to be a bummer and a test for sure.

E

You got this ☺

i have had experiences with both, so I know how it can effect your life. I would love to try and help others that are going through it as well. Any thoughts?

I think its great. There are so many topics within it. Go for it. You can start here.
Lead researcher Roland Zahn, M.D., from the University’s School of Psychological Sciences, said: “Our research provides the first brain mechanism that could explain the classical observation by Freud that depression is distinguished from normal sadness by proneness to exaggerated feelings of guilt or self-blame. Good luck Time is not short only life is.

As someone who suffers from severe anxiety, I think it's a great niche. While it may seem like a broad niche, you'll be able to narrow it down and target several keywords with posts across the niche.

Oh, I plan on narrowing it down.

Is that a bit like panic attack? I know Hilda here has a website about that, https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/hildacbg

In some ways.. I will check her site out .

That is a good niche and not too narrow. Much narrower and you'll paint yourself into a corner leaving not much room for writing articles.

I agree with the personal story but though again don't limit your article writing potential. Also with a personal story, journal type site it had better be super captivating or folks will bounce right away. Too much reality TV and 50 shades of grey type stuff - gets old fast of its not obscenely out of this world.

ROCK ON!
E

I agree, there is way to much reality stuff going on. I plan on it to be captivating.

That's great if it's true or at least believably unbelievable... If that makes sense

Perfect sense

I look forward to checking out your site!

Thanks! I am excited to start working on it.

Most people suffer from them both at the same time. It has a large audience but is still not to broad to target people with those issues

Sweet! I love helping people and with my own experiences I felt it could be a perfect fit.

I think it may be too broad. Have you looked at the keyword tool or gotten into Jaaxy to see what they say? They will give you ideas on how large or small your chosen niche is. My guess is that you need to focus it in a little.

I am working with my niece who signed up yesterday on choosing her niche and she was also looking at this avenue. We talked and talked and decided she is going to narrow it down to her personal story - where she is now, books she reads, etc. and also how it affects being a single parent with a small child. So if you look at your keywords and then add in other things about YOUR life that you could talk about in relation to that, you would probably have a much more personal story - and then more involved readers. What do you think of that?

That makes sense.. No, I haven't done the keyword search on it. I plan on doing that here in a bit. My experiences has mostly been around my divorce and anxiety having to deal with my ex (which hasn't been pretty). I could narrow it down along those lines.

I would totally go for that niche. It was one that I looked at because I just left my husband of 19 years because I finally saw that his emotional abuse and controlling were overwhelming and killing me. Literally killing me by killing my health slowly. I love, love, love this idea.

Yes, my ex is very controlling more so after the divorce. Especially with the kids. Has made my life hell for the past 6 years and has really taken a toll on me physically and emotionally.
