Hi, I don´t wanna display the text "category archives" in my theme, can any CSS expert help me please. I have searched for hours on the Internet (Also WP forum), but no CSS code se
I'm pretty sure you have to do the following, depending on your theme:
1. Go to your site dashboard and scroll down to APPEARANCES.
2. Click on WIDGETS.
3. Once you have clicked on WIDGETS, there will be a SIDEBAR menu on your right with all the categories that are displayed on your site's sidebar.
4. From there, you just click and slide the tab you do not wish to have on your site: CATEGORIES and ARCHIVES, and slide over to the left back to the AVAILABLE WIDGETS menu.
5. You will notice that the tab you moved back to the left is no longer on your SIDEBAR Menu.

Thanks for your comment, but I do want my categories in my sidebar (or in my main menu) I want to delete the text "Category Archives", I only want to display the title of the category.

it seems I didn´t explain well enough what I wanted. I DO want my categories in my main menu or sidebar. I just do not want the text "Category Archives" in front of the Title of the category. Can you help?

Hi, I would like to give somebody access to my website to able him to edit some pages and write new content. I know how to creat a new user id for him, but I have no clue what t
Hey there, so I had never really given this a lot of thought lol. I had to go to the wordpress site to look to see if there was a breakdown of what the different roles could do http://codex.wordpress.org/Roles_and_Capabilities if you scroll down some there is a big chart looking thing that breaks down what each role can do.
To sum it up for your needs though, Subscribers can only read. Contributors edit,read, delete posts (that seems weird to me but I am just going from the chart!) Authors can do lots of post related stuff including create them, upload files, and edit ALREADY published posts. He would need to be least an Editor in order to manage links, create pages, and moderate comments etc. So I would say an Author at minimum and then something higher depending on the full extent of what you need him to do =). I believe you can always go back and change the role later so you might just end up doing that if you want to give him more responsibility.
Oh and I would totally recommend checking out that link cause I'm sure my summary was less than stellar

Okay sorry I didn't have the correct information for you. Have you try the Live Video Classes. I'm sure Jay have one on it I do know I seem it before. On my other message I was trying to edit and some how deleted it.
