Site Rubix & The Next Phase Begins As I Start Promoting My Mailing List

I officially launched my mailing list yesterday, so I am on track with the goals I have set for this week (YiPee!).

I am now preparing to add messages here, using the message campaigns feature that Kyle & Carson provides to affiliates here.

I am sharing the steps I take, so that others here can see exactly how I work when it comes to marketing a product or service.

I share also so that referrals that I send here, can have a "blueprint" to follow to help boost their own success if they choose to implement anything that I blog about.

I am also sick of nickels and dimes, plain and simple. I have earned a lot of money via adsense over the years, and I have made a lot of money flipping websites. Every day that I work work work, I am getting older older older.

I feel that it's time for me to let go of a large portion of my workload. I have searched high and low for the best residual income program to promote. I have to say, WA is absolutely the best for my needs, I would never invest my time in anything but the best, therefore, I simply want to try my hand at promoting something that will produce more than nickels and dimes.

So I am moving away from adsense, and towards actively promoting these three things, in this order: My Mailing List, Wealthy Affiliate, Clickbank products. I am also giving Amazon another try, but if that does not work, then the site I am testing it on, will simply be used to promote my own products.

The posts I share here, as well as the tutorials, videos and courses, are not only to share what I am doing to promote WA for the residual income, but also so that when referrals start signing up under me, they too can follow the same steps I take.

So without further ado, my next steps to be taken, beginning this week are:

I plan to create a mailing campaign for "Starter" members, as well as a campaign for those members who upgrade to Premium membership.

As we all know, starter members are allowed one free website. Yet with this website, they are limited as to the themes and plugins they can access and use.

To demonstrate how a starter member can still use site rubix to earn income, I have created my own site rubix account, using the generate press theme.

I created the account a bit over 2 weeks ago, and discovered yesterday that it has been indexed by google already.

The reason that this "indexing" is key, for me, is because I can now honestly tell starter members, that YES, a site rubix website can get indexed quickly.

I have seen this question asked before here, with a wide range of answers. Some say yes it can be done, some say no. As for me, I simply hate to say "I'm not sure" if any of my referrals ever ask me this question.

So now at least for that question, I can say yes, one of my own site rubix sites was indexed fairly fast.

My site rubix site is promoting WA, Amazon and Clickbank, I do not know if adsense approves sites on free domains so I do not intend to submit this particular site to adsense.

Basically, the mailing campaign I create for starter members will be of course the welcome emails, the emails encouraging them to follow the training, and eventually some emails to point them to another tutorial.

I will be adding the new tutorial sometime soon that shows exactly how I created my site rubix website so that they (and other starter members) can see how I did my own ad placements.

I feel that 6 months is plenty of time for someone to earn enough income from the starter plan, where they can save up enough funds to pay for Premium access.

With that in mind, my starter mailing campaign will not be very in depth, it'll be written mainly to show a few things that they can do to help boost their income as they wait for google to start generating traffic for them.

The mailing campaign I intend to add for those members who sign up as premium members, will be a bit more in depth and cover a lot more information.

It'll direct Premium referrals to the training I have already added, some of my blog posts, as well as some blog posts that others have written here.

I'll also be providing bonuses for premium members.

I have arranged with a theme developer, who provides amazing premium themes, the ability to use their themes as an incentive to encourage starter members to upgrade to premium membership. This company has provided me an unlimited number of licenses so that I can provide premium designs to premium referrals.

It seems that the most difficult thing people are having as they begin here, is the actual "configuring" of the websites.

I see more questions related to site design than I do about anything else here (I have spent an obscene amount of time in live chat lately as some of my wonderful live chat friends know :)

The main bonus I will be offering premium referrals, is that I will personally install a premium theme of their choice (they will have to choose the theme from my demo site).

I am currently setting up a theme demo site, that provides a demo of every theme. This site is what I plan to use, to encourage many of my subscribers to sign-up as premium members.

I will configure the theme so that it will look great from the beginning, so that all the member will have to do is create their content and go. The member of course will still have to follow the training here, because I will not be adding any pages or posts for them. I will be just the installing the theme and handling the widgets configurations.

As of now, I am undecided if they have to join annually to claim the bonus or if it doesn't matter so long as they become premium members. I am leaning towards them having to pay annually for full install and configuration, with another sort of bonus (full install, but no configuration) for monthly members, I am not certain yet at this stage.

My mailing list will simply pitch the professional designs as a bonus, explain what a subscriber has to do to get one of the designs installed on their website (they get the bonus once they become a premium member here), and also explain that the way to claim the site design will be provided once they join here as premium members (instructions will be provided with my email campaign).

Basically, these are the next steps I intend to take, as I work towards my goal to get to Vegas.

My mailing list is up and running, so now I will start adding my "campaign emails" here.

This way I can keep WA sign-ups separate from my main mailing list.

I guess you could say that the main goal of my mailing list, is to funnel people from it to here, so that I can better mentor and coach my WA referrals here, using the tools that Kyle & Carson provides.

Also, if anyone plans to follow the methods I am sharing, when you get to this stage, the install and configuration of premium themes is not the only sort of bonus you can provide.

It's something I am offering, because I feel it's best for my referrals. I feel that they will be more likely to "remain" as members, if they can spend more time focusing on content, and not with the headaches that sometimes comes with working with so many themes.

With thousands of themes to choose from, one can sometimes get baffled trying to configure their selection.

I see this a lot in live chat, someone has problem with their site design, but it's usually a "theme related" issue that is not easy to troubleshoot based on a one sentence question.

I know it is not reasonable to expect others here to start buying expensive licenses so they can install and configure themes for their referrals. I also would not expect referrals that I send here, who also plan to follow in my steps, to do this either.

I have spent the better part of March trying to figure out a solution, where at this stage, other WA members (including my future referrals) could have a "bonus" to share too. The best solution I can come up with, is to create more courses that shows how to configure certain themes that are already provided here at WA.

The courses would be set to be viewed by premium members only, and so they'd have to upgrade if they wish to view the training.

If there is enough interest in this, then I will create more "theme" related courses, but this won't be determined until I receive feedback from others.

If there is enough interest, I will start working towards those types of courses beginning next week. If not, then I will add a few more simply so that they are available for my referrals to follow, if they ever find a need to.

If you have any themes that you would like to see a course for, that shows how to configure it, as I did for the landing page course, please let me know in the comments' area below.

What a great source of information you have created here! I love the whole 'road map' idea. I have been contemplating creating a website to promote WA but I have no idea where to start. I will definitely be following your progress. I can't wait to see where it all leads!

To add to your investigating - When I first started here at WA, I remember my site rubix site was indexed quite quickly - within days actually. I have been told on numerous occasions that subdomains will not be approved by Adsense. I didn't try it myself since I ended up moving the site to my own domain but this is what I have been told.

Best of luck with your new campaign!
Shannon

Thank you Shannon, I may test that theory about sub-domains with adsense later.

I have been told the same myself, but when I conduct my research, I always try to verify the information from a verifiable source (I google it).

I won't chance it with my personal adsense account, but I am sure I can convince my husband to try. He's open to starting a website now, so maybe he can be my "test" person to see if adsense does or does not approve sub domain accounts.

I think there must be a way around it, because I see adsense on blogger and wordpress blogs that use sub-domains.

That's a test for another day I guess.

I'm glad that you are enjoying the "road map" I'm developing, if you do choose to do the same yourself, then start with my 10 Lead Generating tips blog post.

That's what I am working on right now myself, my list just got up and running yesterday, so there's not much to learn yet at this stage :)

Thanks so much, I will check out your lead generating blog :)

Maria, thank you for sharing! I find your post very helpful and I look forward to seeing more posts on your progress! All the best to you!

Cheers!
-Hon

You are most welcome Hon, I am so pleased that you are finding the information useful!

I find your writing easy to read and flow nicely. You do an excellent job explaining complex subject matter in a way that's easy for me to understand. Thanks again and keep up the good work.

Thank you Hon, your feedback is GREATLY appreciated! I know sometimes I can get things jumbled up, but I do try my best.

Not at all! Keep the contents coming :)

Wow 👏👏👏👏

Thank you :)

Hi Marie,
That's a great idea. 😃I look forward to your guide. My mentor is MIA since I began and I've been doing this on my own.

Since I am still working a full-time job and working part-time on this and not much selling or promoting. No mentor to ask. I've lost my mojo so to speak 😆. I've been updating my posts for a couple of months now.

As you said, I too, am getting older and I need as much help as I can to make some more income. Thanks for posting. 😃

Hi Kelyee, You're not the only one who lost their mentor, I've never even heard a word from whoever it was that I signed up under.

To be honest, 2 years ago I had some troubles, and when I came back, Kyle sent me a message that was very kind. That is the main reason I have remained.

Over the years, I have been helped and encouraged by many many others here, so I consider them all my mentors now :)

My sharing is my way of "paying it forward" simply because those who have helped me, know who they are, and those I hope I can help...well, we are all here as one great big community of people, all with goals that are practically the same.

As for getting older and more income, the little calculator that is provided to affiliates is the tool that has made me determined to increase my residual income, no matter what.

It's not like I am doing anything new, just focusing more on WA than adsense now :)

If you ever need clarification on anything I share, let me know, I will help all that I am able!

Thank you, will do. 🙂

Maria, great informative post! Working smarter, having a plan, adjusting the plan as new info arises, etc - thank you for sharing this info with us and I'll be following your journey!
P.S. - I get the feeling there's still a lot of teenager inside you!

Thank you David, I am so pleased that you are finding the information useful. As for "teenager", mentally my mind is young and free, but physically, my body is wishing for better care.

I knew growing older would mean aches and pains, but I never realized how tired one gets. My WA marketing plan is me working towards my "retirement" stage :)

Remember WA work is great for our minds....terrible for our bodies, i.e, all the sitting...I set my phone alarm for 45 min....up and moving around some to get that circulation flowing again....am not a doctor but was a farm boy once - gotta move every little bit...and wishing you good health!!

I get plenty of exercise :) I have a tiny garden I work on, and when my grandson is here, I get a lot of running time in. He's a fast lil fellow lol.

I drink lots of bottled water, so I make sure I leave it in the kitchen so that I do have to get up and walk a bit to get it. When my water bottle is empty, that's usually when I get up, get another, and take a short stroll in the yard to clear my mind.
