I can not see my website on my profile or on google
I didn't have any trouble finding your website here, and if I type in the URL, I can get it on Google. But a general search (without the .siterubix.com) doesn't bring it up yet. It can take a while to get ranked higher--one of the reasons the WA process will be helpful.
I can see your site - the current to blog is Grocery Shopping with $50. I am not sure what you are not seeing??
Keep working on it. It's still very new and can take a while to gain traction in Google.
Along with following the training and applying what you learn to your website, here are a couple of suggestions.
- Change your theme. Something with a right sidebar works better.
Go to your wordpress dashboard and go to appearance > themes, find a new theme and add it to your site.
- Try to make your posts a bit longer and try to always add a picture when you post. Your posting frequency is great. Keep it up.
- keep menu items short. About Margaret C and Lovely Life can simply be About.
If you want to put your website on your profile, you'll have to edit your profile and put the link there by clicking Manage my Sites, putting the url in one of the boxes and clicking save.
I go to google and put in Lovely Life and I see others blog page also its not on my profile
you can try to manualy add it to Google Index here
https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/submit-url
it could take a few hours or sometimes days until it get update everywhere

Do the articles count in your keywords when people look them up?
Are you asking about articles in the grammatical sense, with stop words such as "the, "a", "an", "for" etc?
For example, a keyphrase such as 'SEO for beginners" - is counted as one keyword phrase (not 3 keywords).
The search engines will select what it considers relevant words from your content and will include those in the search results.
If this is not what you are asking about, then please give us more information. ~Jude
yes, they do. You should always try to implenemt your keywords in the first part, middle part and last part of your article. And the title, of course. It has to fit in with the rest of the text and make sense, but it is always good to use your keywords in your text. Don't overdo it, google will recognice it as an attempt to fool their robots, so do it all with care :-)
Good evening Margaret:
The keywords you have chosen prior to writing your content should be included as content you create-posts and pages-within your website.
The key is that content you create should engage your visitors in the form of comments. Interested visitors will comment, agree, disagree, pose other questions and generate dialog with what you posted. This interaction along with fresh relatable content will attract visitors and search engines will see that and rank your site favorably in web searches.
Has my answer helped with your question? Please let me know if you have any other questions or comments. I am happy to help you Margaret! Best wishes!
-Wayne

I started my website and i like the title I want to look pretty
If you are just starting, don't worry about that too much at this point. Just concentrate on writing content. Everything else will come as you go through the training
Thanks for the response, FHagstrom. I keep getting ahead of myself as well, not realizing we're going to "pretty it up" in a later lesson. I recently looked at the descriptions under the lesson titles and it pointed this out for me.
Yes, all things in due time. The content is the important thing. Without content, you don't have traffic to your site so, who will see it anyway. Pretty it up a little here and there as you go
Content is made up of posts and pages... you know... adding information re the theme of your website... the stuff people want to read who are interested in what you have to offer.
I am and will continuously be working on this I have only a part time job. So this will be my full time job. Thank you so much
