I totally understand. But sometimes you put in so much work, that you need that distraction. Becky :)

I'm just wondering whether this irritates anyone else?
I've often come across videos where someone waffles on for ages at the beginning. For example, something like, "Hey
I agree, some also ramble on about people who have commented on a video they did last week that has no relevance to the video they are supposed to be presenting. For this reason I download most Youtube videos first and I can fast forward easily. My internet is too slow to fast forward a live feed.
I get irritated about these, but I also get irritated about long, rambling articles, blogs and/or other copy, especially if they also repeat themselves several times before they get to it.
I agree with you Marcus. When I look up a video I want the facts and nothing but the fact. If it drags on I tend to exit.
However, I'm sure their are others who like all the fluff.
Just say'in!
That's when I either stop the video or adjust the playback speed. I really dislike videos that waste my time. That's why I edit my videos to remove unnecessary pauses waiting for pages to load etc.
No, it's not just you.
It is one reason I usually don't watch videos. Using a baseball metaphor, I am only interested in the delivery, not the wind up.
The 1 hour webinars that spend 45 minutes telling you about, and showing you the picture slideshow "rags to riches" story of the course or program creator. Those irritate me.
Hi Marcus. As irritating as what you said might be, if the video is full of good stuff, I do tend to accept all the crap initially. However, if after a couple of minutes it doesn't get any better, I'll have a quick look to see how long the video is. If it's a pretty short one, I might carry on watching it, but if it's long, I'll fast forward to a couple of random places, and if it's still crap, then it's gone.
Other things which irritate the life out of me are the voice and the volume. Some people have such a heavy accent, you can't make out what they're on about. Having the recording volume made too low also annoys me since even with my speakers going at full output, it's still not loud enough to hear it properly.
James
Yes, a really strong accent or too much slang because they are trying to sound cool, that's a real turn-off. There are some Americans that speak in a really lazy way where they don't seem to pronounce their consonants at all. Do you know what I mean? It's like they are just making a series of vowel sounds.
I hate any kind of ramblings lol.... One thing I do despise is the standard hyped up intros "Hey its your boy ........." Does my head in.

Okay, so I recently decided to finally get to grips with social media.
Things I have done recently:
- Learned more about Twitter.
- Learned more about Fac
Sounds like you have a good plan, Marcus. I'm interested in what you think of Hootsuite. I hope you'll let us know what you think. Good luck! Alanna
Good, you can see results and massage as you progress to improve results...Nice start M8! Two thumbs up! : )
Sounds good to me - I have no proper social media schedule right now, I keep forgetting about it, because it gets boring. Yours sounds good :)
You've been busy, great job! I find social media to be the most boring part of my business. For that reason, I just share each article and don't really bother with engagement.
Yes, that was my approach when I tried social media in the past, but I think engagement might be the key to it.
Hey buddy - I LOVE experiments and as you know I am doing similar things but on a much lower scale as it is time consuming and I have a life as well!
I see you have not included LinkedIn or Instagram as these are the two I am working with now and have great results
best regards - Paul
I think it looks great. My only question is whether starting with all the sites at the same time is a good idea or if you get to be really good at say 2 of them and then add more.
I use LinkedIn (as I am mainly in B2B) and a FB page and that is enough for me. I did add Twitter but then found I spent too much time in dealing with followers and direct messages etc that I cut it out again for the time being.
Good question. I will keep that in mind as I go forward. If I feel like I am spreading myself too thinly then I might cut back and focus on fewer.
Hi Marcus, It sounds like you have it all figured out! Good luck with whatever you decide. Becky :)

I created these really quickly using Canva. What do you think?
PLEASE NOTE: I didn't create the ebook covers. I just took them from the product websites and used them to

Awwww,,,,,, I'd have to say, "OUTSTANDING," Marcus!
Great job and I think your having way TOO much fun with this, lol! I know I would. The magic of technology!
Just a heads up for future reference, (aside from the greatness of your creativity,) it's not mobile friendly. I'm working off an iPad and I'm unable to run the video. Not too sure how you can fix that, but if anyone can, I'd say it would be you!
I know just when you thought it was almost perfect. Sorry!
PS. So, try not to forget about, "We the mobile community!" lol, :) especially if you plan on doing something in terms of advertising the Wealthy Affiliate Opportunity.
Building a site to be proud of! And by the looks of it you are well on your way!

I like them all. The first one, which was pretty simple, is my favorite. You are pretty good at creating this kind of thing.

Then you will need to be VERY careful of copyright laws and receive proper permissions (in writing) to prevent a lawsuit in your future.
I've only ever got into trouble once for using an image on my website, and as soon as I removed it that was the end of the matter. That was years ago.
You're not going to end up in court without them asking for you to remove it first.

Sorry Marion if I am asking too many questions. I am trying to get to grips with social media, so several questions are emerging for me.
Anyway, so:
I like Pinter
Make sure you create tall images to share on pinterest. You need at least 10 boards. I just bought a new sharing plugin called Social Pug, it lets you set pinterest-specific featured images, so when someone shares your content on pinterest, that image is the one that gets used.
Hey Marcus,
Think you'll find Rina's training most helpful on this subject: Introduction to Board Booster
