This css may work

display: none;
}
place it in appearance--> customize and see if it helps.
The main issue is usually with SERPs because visitors will not come if they see an obsolete date. Will it remove it there?
No it will not.

With images in the PNG format, what is the widest pixel size I can use for my blog? Currently, I'm using Canva for my photo stock image.
It sizes images
don't use png ...use jpg or preferably webp for images of that size or your site will be sloooow....
remember most people view your site on a mobile... how many mobiles are 1200 pixel wide....

If new you can start again, are you writing in site content or wordpress sites back office
If you edited a document in site content and published it, future edits has to be done in wordpress. Site content and wordpress work independently.
I'd place my images in a document in site content and publish it to my site. it will be added to my wordpress media library.

So you're basically saying delete all CLASSIC EDITOR PAGES and POSTS and input the content into the SITE CONTENT SRCTION and then click on the PUBLISHED: EDIT HERE button...?

Can I copy and paste all the content including images from CLASSIC EDITOR into SITE CONTENT...or do the images have to uploaded separately...

I'm trying to upload an image into the Site Content as I've created a new Keyword Rich Content Page.
Any ideas why it won't upload. The image is a PNG a
My experience usually has been the name the image was saved under was the problem. What I've done to resolve this is to always try and open the image in a new tab. If that is possible I save it under a new name.
My experience typically will come down to the name that the image has been saved as. What I've learned to do is first always see if I can open the image in a new tab. Once that is possible I will save it with a new name versus the one that it appeared with.

Make sure that the image's file name only contains letters, numbers, spaces, underscores, and hyphens. Special characters such as an apostrophe will result in the file not being uploaded.
You can click the mountain icon in site content, search for an image and then insert. (see image)
