When it is time to update a version of WordPress, or plug ins, do you all do that?

Does it ever cause problems, or are they pretty good at installing updates without wreck

I didn't have any issues after updating WP to 4.1.

The minor wordpress updates are more for small security fixes and bugs that have come to light. Rather than big changes in how it works.

So very unlikely a plugin won't work after a minor update. Most popular plugins will be updated very quickly, if need be.

I usually wait a week or so before updating. Just in case there are any reports of things going haywire.

All my sites are on 4.1 with no issues with plugin compatability.

Thank you so much for your very quick reply. I noted that my other 3 sites all had the updates already, and seemed quite similar, so I just went ahead and updated everything. Just went through and checked everything out and it is all running smooth, so your suggestion was right on the money.

Hi. I used one of the endless free sites we have on siterubix.com to create a play site, one that I can learn as I go without worrying if I mess up or not. At the same time I

Yeah, after over a week of no access, today I tried changing my pass word and still I couldn't get access. So I was like, forget it, the site served its purpose. It has been deleted. Hopefully this is an issue that will only occur with siterubix.com sites.

I would like to thank you both for responding to my question. I am happy that if this had to happen, it happened to that site and not an important one.

It's probably something that only Support can fix if the error is coming from the server.
But try deleting cookies & clearing your browser cache. Then login again. Or login from a browser you haven't used to access your site before. If you still get the error, contact Support.

This problem has been going around all weekend i hope support can fix soon.

My sentence must end in a question mark apparently?

When I joined Google plus a week or so back, I used the Google Structured Data Testing Tool and got this:

Error: Missing required field "updated".

Error: Missing req

Are you using rich snippets or authorship?

If not then that's why you're getting the error message.
But It's not something that you have to worry about. And not something most people will use.

I attempted to set that up, but I have never got it to be set up correctly. I have a google+ account I have myself listed as creator of my website and have the e-mail from my website listed in my account. I thought I followed the instructions in the video that were spoken about in Course 2 lesson 8, if I am recalling correctly. It was somewhere in that ballpark. Anyway, I can't seem to get this error fixed and would appreciate if someone would help problem solve this for me or even send me a direction where I can attempt to figure out how to problem solve it myself. Thank you so much.

There's no need to use the Google Structured Data tool If you don't have those enabled. You only need to use it if you do. Authorship, as described in the WA training, is dead now. Google killed it a few months ago. ( http://www.searchenginejournal.com/death-google-authorship-author-isnt-dead/116996/ )

Thank you, that was very helpful.

I would also like to know the answer to the first error, I have the same one. The second one is a problem somewhere in your authorship. I got mine partly fixed, let me explain.

Remember at the start when we were just creating posts from an admin profile,, then we added a second profile with our name on it. Well my problem was I had authorship on my named profile and not on the other, so I just went in and added my g+ url to my admin profile and it took away some of the errors. Some are still there and I don't know why yet.

I actually put out a question about the first one and still havent gotten an answer, So hopefully someone will shed some light on it. I don't think these errors are too serious someone told me.
