"Trucking, Got My Chips Cashed In"
Wisdom from The Grateful Dead's "Trucking."
It's a great anthology of sorts for myself and many others in the Wealthy Affiliate program. Meaning most of us here are all in for a rough windy road ahead.
Making money online is not easy, that's for sure. It probably takes more hours a day than any other type of venture out there. You get up have some breakfast, shower. At 9am you check emails, cringe over the outline you made the night before. Of what you want your most recent blog post to be about.
Then you set out to write said post. But, you have to keep "Trucking" as the song goes. One reason why, there are way to many distractions. You might have gmail open, WA open, Twitter open, Facebook open, etc.... All while your trying to write your super awesome post.
DON'T
Distractions like that will hurt the quality of your work. You forget little things like putting in a lead magnet with an opt-in option(Big Mistake). Or you won't properly research for the content your trying to put out. I mean the list goes on.
As Jay would say, "Just Keep your head down, and get to work"
When you let things distract you from creating content rich post, your site will fail. Make sure you're posting quality on a regular basis not just quantity that every other Knucklehead is doing.
Get Creative
Don't be an old infomercial with gimmicky lines, and don't try to sound like you just came back to life from the dead with a slow walk. Be interesting, lead your readers with engaging content. Try to interject some antidotes of humor. Let your readers know you are a living Caring Human being. Just don't be informing your audience of your offer.
Be an "INFOTAINER!"
Infotainment, It's called. This the practice of giving value to your readers with a bit of spice added. Don't be boring, Be Different. I Promise it will work.
Good Luck My Fellow WA Associates,
Sean

Which spice do you suggest? I prefer Chipotle myself. I like that little bit of zing.
Jerry
lol, Chipotle is nice, but I prefer mine to be more of Deep Southern spice, with a side of Cheese Grits.

Hi Sean, great advice to add spice and personality to the posts. I have tried that on a few posts on my website. Keep encouraging people, you are good at it. :-)
Dave
