Losing Steam

But still a productive day! Currently multi-tasking as I'm both at my day job and working on my career.

Emotional Moments

I will admit the losing steam is probably from the emotional moment I had while writing my newest blog post. It's about shyness. I suffer from a more extreme form of it. It's not social anxiety order, but I believe that it is very close.

So, I wrote a very emotional comment on someone else's website who was trying to give tips on how to overcome shyness. They were good tips for a mild form, but not for something like me. This brought on the tears, and the fears, since my personal demons are being evaluated and coming up lacking.

It seems silly, but it doesn't change my feelings on the matter.

Taking a Break

So instead of writing notes on the 2 other review keywords I had planned on doing today I am going to take a break and watch my current favorite movie, The Greatest Showman. I love the songs in this musical and they really do speak to me.

What I Accomplished

  • I posted a blog that was supposed to go out yesterday, but didn't because I forgot about it.
  • I did my blog checklist which includes (in no particular order):
    • SEO optimization
    • Social Media Sharing
    • Category Selecting
    • Submitting to Google
    • Asking for Comments on WA (Very belatedly, oops.)
  • Found 2 new products to review
  • Watched a training replay
  • Found a new personal keyword
  • Wrote an article on said new personal keyword

The only thing I didn't get to check off today was writing notes for my new product reviews (I haven't even gotten keywords for them yet. Whoops.)

So, I hope all of you had an awesome day. Remember to give yourself a break now and again. You've earned it!

Take care,

Michelle/Anne

For an introverted person, you are doing awesome! Keep it up. I love your blog checklist!

Thank you for your support. It means a lot to me.

Take care.

Michelle, Hello! I am so excited to meet and connect with you. By the way, I adore your blogs. There are always a message there that sticks out.
Encouragement is something we all can use and actually need in order to survive the ongoing hustle. I guess you can say this is what online Affiliate marketing is all about.

Perseverance, tolerance and integrity plays an important role.
Remember, you're not alone, and there's no time clock. Actually, you are your own boss. Take breaks as much as you need too, your
business will be there.

You have done exceedingly great!

Take a break!
"Be Bright, Be Happy, Be you."

Blessings
Strengthen & Endurance!

Louisa B

Thank you Louisa for your kind words. They always help lift me up.

Good luck out there!

Take care.

Welcome!

Hi Michelle/Anne,
This might amount to some encouragement, for you as I just finished a creative writing piece today motivated in part by reading some of your earlier posts.
You never know when you will impact another or by "how much". But if in a day one other person is inspired, well I am going to call that day "A Blessing"

"Steady as you go, will cross the road", so says the turtle !
(No,not really...I'm just using my turtle voice)

In quest and friendship...respectfully, David

Thank you for your comment David. I'm so glad that I could inspire you in such a way.

Yes, indeed, be the turtle, be the turtle.

Take care.

Nicely written! I am at that break time.

Wayne

Thank you for your comment. Definitely take that break if you need to so you can come back strong.

Take care.

I enjoyed your post it was a great one. I feel if I take a break I will become lazy and won't want to work. So I work from morning to night. Like working from (9-5) again, I guess that I am working hard because I want to succeed in this business. I don't want to mess up. Yes, I put pressure on myself to succeed. I want to make a career out of this I guess that is why I work so hard.

God Bless
Mary

Thank you for your comment Mary. I admit to feeling that way, too. I've seen what happens if I'm not invested in my business, if I'm not actively improving it.

That's why I journal. Even if it's just a couple sentences along with a to do list for tomorrow it brings me back to my business and helps set me up to continue to improve.

I understand my limits and I make sure to follow them. I've learned not to burn myself out so that fire continues on and makes me strive for better things for my life and my business.

I wish you success and happiness.

Take care.

I thank you because now I know that I am not alone that there is someone else that feels the way I do.

Mary

You were quite wise to take a break - we all need them on a regular basis or else we will burn out.

Gotta agree on The Greatest Showman - I had no idea how great that movie would be!

You are doing great!

Thank you so much! My favorite song is This is Me, but if I'm needing a push to get things done then Never Enough is the one I go to. I admit that I love all of them! You can tell Hugh Jackman was so passionate about his role!

Take care.

Looks like you are doing ok. I grew up very shy also. As a child you could probably count the number of words I spoke all day on both hands. I did get over lots of it when I started coaching girls ponytail softball. I did that for years and also coached young women’s teams and volleyball teams. That really helped my shyness a lot. Then I taught software classes at work. I had no problems talking about software I knew well. Then I finally went back to college to finish my degree. It was an 18 month degree completion program to get an organizational management degree. We had to write and present so much during that year and a half, it got easy. After making an idiot of yourself you would finally get over being shy.

Thanks for your comment. I know it's gotten easier at work because I know exactly what's expected of me. It's the more unstructured social events that really bring out my shyness. That and new people.

I love your honesty in this post, and believe me, you are doing a really good job. Acknowledging when things are getting tough is a good sign that you are in touch with your emotions and being emotionally intelligent to do something about it.

Taking a break was a great idea - we all need to recharge our batteries now and then. Remember that even with all the challenges of the SWAG and GoGetters going on here at the moment, the real challenge is only with yourself. You do not need to compare yourself to anyone.

You are an amazing person - always have been and you always will be. Allow yourself some self love and you will start to realise that you are doing a brilliant job of just being you. And who could ask anything more.

Whatever you did today was a great step in the direction of your goals and dreams and it is important to give yourself permission to take a break too. And from what I can see, you not only took a step in the right direction, but a giant leap for womankind! :)
Have a wonderful day.
Gail
PS. I love the pictures by the way.

Thank you Gail, that's just what I needed to hear, so thank you so much for saying that.

I always try to be honest, whether it's going great, or whether it just wasn't going to happen. I feel it gives a more sincere ring to my posts and it shows that I'm only human.

I hope you are having a wonderful day as well.

Take care.

Being human is great. It's what we all are and what makes our lives so amazing. Hang tough. You can do it. Gail

Looks like you are doing an awesome job from here!

Thank you. I'm trying to get ahead of the game, so it's not so bad. Just seemed to bite off more than I could chew.
