My Progress So Far.!
Hi Everyone,
It's been a month after i purchased my very first domain. There is a lot that i have learnt in this one month period.
So far my website has 2538 pageviews, 533 users and 884 sessions. Most of my traffic is from social networks and referral websites. also I got a 100$ bing ads coupon which i have used to generate some traffic.
I'm not sure if this is a good start. But my website is not showing in google search results (for keywords). I checked in Wincher.com for different keywords and it says my website is not listed in first 100 pages. I keep adding quality content, following SEO, but no luck yet. Please let me know if you have any suggestions to improve my website's ranking.
I have not approached any affiliates as my website has not got enough organic traffic yet. I will wait for some more time to get some better ranking and then approach affiliate networks. Hopefully my website will do better in coming days. Thanks for everyone who helped me..!

If there's a fundamental mistake, you need to check that instead of continuously adding new contents.
It's best to test the waters first...
There are other factors:
Competition
Quality of contents
Choice of keywords
Sometimes, going below 500 words a page can be risky too as google will not rank such pages at all.
