Hi,
I have a query regarding getting affiliate links.
If a product is being sold on amazon and also by the merchant directly, is it OK get two affiliate links both
Why not? Your site you decide.I have Amazon and ebay all the time together, and sometimes Amazon and the manufacturer as well.
Can we get two affiliate links for a single product?

Thank you all. Having alternate affiliate links for the same product would help us for the business continuity without jerk. My doubt got clarified.

Many thanks in advance!

I was wondering about this too. Maybe I’m wrong, but as far as I can remember Kyle didn’t mention about this on the lessons, not even here.

Hello all, How frequent should the posts be?
Am asking this question because sometimes i'm able to write 3 articles in a week but sometimes only one in 6 days. So i'm unable
It is okay to vary what days and how often that you choose. Do what is most convenient for you :-)
You can vary your schedule - if you do Monday and Wednesday one week, it doesn't have to be the same the following week :)
Why don't you set a schedule. Say twice a week. ie every Monday and Thursday. Then write your posts and have them ready on publish day. On weeks when you write three, you'll have one in reserve for the week you only have time to write one.
Your readers will get used to the schedule and you will find more loyalty.

My website is almost ready and made few posts. Domain age is around 2 months. Is right time to apply for Amazon? How many posts do we need to make before approaching them?
I would advise to wait as well. I joined early and just last weekend had my account cancelled. I got back up and running within a few days, but it takes a while to change the links to your new affiliate id. Easier not to have to go through this if you can prevent it!
that is a really good question. i am glad you asked and i found some good advice along with you :)
My suggestion I would wait to make sure my website is getting traffic and vistor..if you just build a website and yoi not getting enough visitor within the 180days of amazon they will cancel your associated account because you're not getting traffic or making any sells. I thinks many people rush to get a associated account with amazon but dont realized they have 180days to make a sell..if you dont amazon will terminate your account..I would wait..just my opinion...
Many people use to apply too early (me included) and then do not make sales in the first 6 months and get into trouble. So make some content and have some traffic before you apply. Better postpone a bit now than to have problems later.
Here is the detailed GA skinny and I'm sure I have seen training by Kyle and others on this too: http://alternateimage.com/post.cfm/post/4489/using-google-analytics-to-view-website-traffic
Hi Maria - I've just been through it. They cancelled my account on Saturday, but I reapplied and was back up and running on Monday. It is a bit of a hassle to change all of your product links though.

How far is amazon affiliate reliable? Had any of the members had bad experience with amazon like cancelling your affiliate program?
Amazon is reliable however when you join they expect you to gain sales within a set period of time
I have never had any problems with Amazon Affiliate, and I think Amazon, in general, is very reliable & credible.
Could be a problem with such a strongly populated resource.
Its probably a question of stamina and adjustment and reapplication....
Easily said, isn't it:-(:-))
They only cancel your affiliate programme after a period of time if you have not made any sales. There are ways round this, but even if it does get cancelled you can reinstate it. I have been with them since I started at WA and have had no issues with them.
