So I have a company that I've been talking to in regards to content(I'm an affiliate for them). They are asking about creating a guest login for my site so they can post 1-2 ar
You could have them submit the article to you and then you post it. That way you have firm control if they try to publish something you don't like and don't have to worry about other security concerns with your site.

Hi - you can add them as a new user and just assign them as an author, so they can't do any damage to your site. However, how would you know that they are adding original content and not something they are posting to all their affiliates?
I would have access to it all, I could easily go in and run it through Copyscape and delete it if it was generic content. There’s the contributor role as well, they can’t upload media on that one and it would need to be approved by me. I just need to know if they can access anything else in there.
Hi - authors can publish, edit and delete their own posts, add images to your media library and approve comments.
Contributors can add posts but you need to approve them before they are published.
Neither of these roles allow access to anything else.
Doesn’t sound like it would be too much of an issue then, thanks for taking the time to respond!

I can't for the life of me hunt down this info, though I know it was somewhere in the training. How do I get rid of them before approving comments on my site? And is there any
That's totally fine, thanks for including it because I'm sure I won't be the only one with this issue, and that is a great thing to set up!
Hi. you can click on the comment. in your WP site dashboard and edit all of the comments manually.
Cheers Rob
Do you mean if somebody leaves a link within a comment? If so, you can edit the comment before approving it and just remove the link and even if it has been approved you can still do the same
