Who owns Wealthy Affiliate?
So Wealthy Affiliate has been around for years and Kyle and Carson honestly have done a super great job. I love WA, and you all do too.
I'm about to upgrade to yearly payment both to estabilish my commitment and save some money but there is something missing and I can't find it anywhere.
A website and service such as this should have some kind of real information of ownership. Business name, physical address, real name of owners. Something. I can't find it anywhere.
On my Paypal transaction info it says "The recipient of this payment is Non-US-Verified" which is also fine, but I still can't see a name or owner behind it. When I click on the provided link it just takes me to this website.
When I look up whois information on wealthyaffiliate.com there is also no public information provided - which is a common practice for small and personal websites to avoid spam but for websites and businesses generating such volume as this, information is and should be enclosed.
So who onws wealthy affiliate? What is the registered name of the business? Who are the actually registered owners (with full name)?
I did a search but just couldn't find anything on this website or anywhere on the Internet about that.
Please note: I am not saying or suggesting that WA is an unclean business of any kind. The information here is priceless and fantastic. This post is merely a legitimate question to ask.

Kyle and Carson are the nominal owners but like all great businesses they draw from an unpublicized cadre of talent as well. You don't think Kyle can be everywhere all the time do you?
In a sense every time we contribute in the forums we are partial owners and stakeholders as well!
I think you misunderstood me, Michael. By EU regulations this website breaks law on several accounts. While it is not effectively enforced - thank God, otherwise, we couldn't access this website - there is still legal stuff missing here which ultimately may affect trust of new possible members.
To make it clearer. As I wish to pay the annual membership, it is not "guaranteed" to members of Europe that they will always be able to access this website during their membership, because of the laws that WA does not keep.
On a side note, I very much dislike many laws and regulations the EU set up, but it is still law and risks people from Europe to lose their access to this website.
To the best of my knowledge, Kyle and Carson, as co-founders, are the actual owners. They are located in BC Canada, specifically in Vancouver if I am not mistaken.
I know that the info is out there. Other members have posted it here in the past. There was even a post today or yesterday about "the History of WA" which gave some detail, though I forget who wrote it.
If you have any questions or concerns, I would recommend just going to Kyle directly. I have not ever felt that he intentionally obfuscates anything. I am sure he would answer.
They hang their hats nominally at least in Victoria BC a ferry ride across the strait west of Vancouver!
I always got the impression that they were in Vancouver itself. Huh. May just be my perception.
I need to head out there one day. I had a sister live there for a while and never took advantage of it to visit her. One day.

I agree, in the affiliate boot camp lesson about writing a review of wealthy affiliate, kyle advises us to note the website and owners, in his example he uses "wealthy affiliate" and "Kyle and Carson".
Due to the fact that my review site is focused on providing accurate and legit information about products services that i review (as per Kyle's advice) it seems odd that I cannot easily find their last name's or their registered business name and business address (no one wants to be bothered at home of course but even home based businesses without a physical location generally have a PO box address registered).
Oh well, just means I can't provide as high of a review score (based on my blogs rules around transparency) as I would have liked to for my favourite program.
