Understanding Google - Eliminate the Middleman

It's a nut breaker. (Nut as head, brain, not the other.) Most of us have done a fair share of head-scratching about how to beat Google, how to look good for their algorithm.

Kyle and other members have written and made countless videos on the subject, and I have read most of them. I never watched any of the videos, though. My time is precious. And that is where I want to offer a simplified concept for you all, to get rid of the headache, stop the sweating and save a lot of time.

What are you trying to do?

Trying to understand how Google operates. Trying to get in that AI's/algorithm's core. Trying to learn every little thing about links, crawlers, bots, spiders, all kinds of Google Schmoodle stuff that makes a mundane human's head spinning off the neck.

So what do the people at Google work on?

AI that understands the way people think. Trying to get in people's heads. So they study every human behaviour, action, demographics, ethics, education, age, gender, every cell of the human mind and heart. And they certainly do a great job spending thousands of work hours and millions of dollars on that.

Google is the middleman.

Please get rid of it, and you save a crapload of time.

So there, you have it. I like things simple, so here it is.

Forget Google. Stop trying to break that ever-changing algorithm.

Kill the middleman and think of yourself as a person that reads your content.

What would you want to learn from the content you are writing, and how well do you want to be informed about it?

That one single sentence is the only thing you have to remember, and you will do well.

There. I just saved you thousands of hours. I take cash, credit card.

Ta!

Magus at your service.

Love it and agree 100% with you Magnus:)

Cheers! :)

I agree with you mostly Andy. We need not concern ourselves with every little change that Google makes. I think it is useful to know the big things but certainly, a focus on our customer mindsets and providing valuable content will win out most times.

We learn a lot of good information here on WA about SEO, and I just like to narrow things down and simplify them to the limit while they still are similarly effective.

I write my content without caring about SEO. Basically like sending a message to a real person. However, I do use some pics and headings.

I don't write the content thinking about what Google would want because Google wants what people want. So "eliminating the middleman". :)

It is fairly simple to me.

What's your opinion on content length?

There's no number to stick on it. It depends on the subject.

For example someone would just want to know a name of something.
Title: What is the name of the whatdoyacallit? So you write your post telling telling that it's called Thingimajiggy, perhaps as point of interest, telling why it's called that. And it's origin. Short, light, done.

On the other hand someone wants to know how to do something. Title: How to turn back time applying Quantum Computing? So you write your post explaining how to use the {(G * V)√2 + (∆5 / π * 12%)} * 365 = T - Y formula to change vector of Time using several examples resulting 1904, 1746, 1124, and 351AD.

That post might need a bigger boat.

Simple formula to follow. Thanks Andy.

My pleasure :)

I like it, Andy! I feel if the content is good and you market it appropriately, people WILL find it!

Jeff

Thank you. :)

You're very welcome, Andy!

I think Google is going to be my biggest hindrance, and I've already been shut down by Facebook and now PayPal. Both without an explanation.

I know, you're saying not to let impressing Google be your focus, right? But if you have a better way, I am all ears!

Thanks for the post,
Craig

Facebook shuts down everyone who doesn't pay loads of money for advertising. PayPal though is basically a paranoid anti terrorism nut. Atleast that is their excuse for locking someone out. With Google just use common sense. Again think like most people. What people want to see, read about is what Google supports.

Hahaha, thanks for the laugh, but I think it's funny because it's true, and I've never really heard it expressed before. Who knew I was a PayPal terrorist...

I still think, as much as I don't want it to be true, that they are all arms of a tyrannical regime, who are not about to reward anyone who speaks against them, and their tyranny and lies; the global agenda, if you will. I should have thought of this when I was starting out, but am managing to believe that I can still succeed, without censoring myself, and maybe there is another way I can go, as far as not needing these platforms.

Anyway, I very much thank you for your advice, Magus.

Cheers,
Craig

It's my pleasure. And yes you can succeed. Knowledge is power but perseverance is a powerful drive. Good luck.

Thanks, I am encouraged.
